Cheap and Frequent is Better than Expensive and Extended Intervals?
I normally use Castrol GTX. I filled up a little cup of Castrol and another of Carlube. The Carlube was a little bit darker. I took some careful pictures to show that…….but now they are on my computer it is impossible to see. I could smell and taste the oil and it wouldn't mean a thing. The ratings are exactly the same as any other oil, so it can not be too different. We are taking care of our old Fiat Punto. This low price means we can do an oil change with a nice Bosch filter more frequently rather than stretch out the intervals with 'the good oil'. It's a theory, and we are sticking to it. Including 2.8 litres of oil and 4pounds for the filter we get an oil change for just over a tenner…….nice. The old habit of changing the oil every 7-10k miles is done. We will change it around 3,500miles now.

Good oil , Good price
Great oil at a great price. It's good for pre 2000 cars like mine and using fully synthetic oil would be like throwing money out of the window. I really don't know how they are making a profit on this oil at the price and free postage but I'm not complaining. They sell this at my local Morrisons for a lot more money than this. It is quite sickening to think how much profit these other car spares shops are making especially Halfrauds!

My car didnt die and thats about the extent of my knowledge
No negative effects in my old civic. Ran on a few bottles of this for 20k miles with no complaints. Don't have the know how to tell you wether it's as good as any others only that it didn't blow my engine up.
