Pretty good
I like Justin's lessons online but his song books leave me a little uninspired I'm afraid. I guess we have very different tastes in music as his song choice is a long way from what if chose. I didn't really pay attention to the song list for this book but it's an odd selection of songs for acoustic. First song is a David Gray song, which should have been warning enough for me really. It's well put together though and easy to follow.

Easy to follow
Very good as an accompaniment to Justin's online lessons. Would be good if it was possible to purchase just the tab you wanted instead of having to buy lots of stuff you'll probably never play. The odd idiosyncrasy in the tab is not pointed out in the book, but I've found it reasonably easy to fathom out the little bits I was unsure about. Good range of abilities catered for.

Great Instruction as usual by Justin Sandercoe
Justin has written a guide to a fully tabbed and a very comprehensive collection of acoustic songs. Very well divided between beginner and intermediate lessons with enough of a challenge for advanced students. As an older guitarist I feel that there are a lot of more recent artists songs featured and I am slightly disappointed that more 'Classic' acoustic songs are not included .The order was three days late on delivery which was annoying and has not been recorded by Amazon.

this guy loves teaching people to play guitar
I recently discovered Justin via youtube. He is one of the best teachers on the internet, and this book reflects his easy going upbeat personality, as well as the clarity of his teaching methods. It's also a great mix of different tunes, from Tom Waits to the Beatles and Clapton. Would be helpful if the listing on Amazon included a list of all the songs. But this is a really good book in an easily usable format.

Well designed and presented song books
Justin's books are well designed, easy to open and stay open at the page due to the sensible selection of the spiral binding. content is easy to understand and the stuff you really need is easy read at a distance.Beginner level is manageable for me, (a beginner for some time!) Justin includes lots of practical hints on how to play each song. It would be helpful for duffers like me if it could include a chord chart for each song. His choice of songs for these isn't quite to my tastes, which is why it gets 4* not 5*

Justin acoustic songbook
As ever with Justin this book is a mine of great information and geared for beginners and upwards. Everything is clearly laid out and easy to follow and there are lots of useful tips and help beside each song. The spiral binding means the book lies flat and you get the whole tune on one page which makes it so easy to use. Another great aid to guitar students everywhere from the wonderful Justin Sandercoe who really is the best online guitar tutor by far. Visiting his website one finds lots of extra help but related to the publications which is a great adjunct to his books Superbly produced and you are bound to find something new even if you are way beyond beginner stage. Buy it!
