Daiwa Lexa 100 Size Line Counter

After calibrating the line counter this reel is more accurate than my more expensive ones. I can put the bait right in the strike zone without the tediousness of pulling line out and counting to get the right depth. Accuracy is everything I hoped for.

The Daiwa Line Counter LEXA-LC100 H is an awesome fishing reel that I use for Bottom Bouncing walleye. It is smooth as silk and strong gearing. You will happy you got it.

I own 8 of these reels. I use them for Kokanee, Trout, Walleye, Sockeye and the occasional fall Coho salmon on the Columbia River. They have held up well over the last few years, these line counter reels are very well made, and hold up well. I have read reviews from people saying the drags were junk and wouldn’t tighten down! Beware if you use braid on these reels, you need to put a backing on the reel before the braid. If you don’t, the braid will slip making you think the drags are not holding! These reels are not matched at their price point.

I own two other of these reels but this last one was assembled with bad quality. I put new line on and when casting with it the bearings squeal and everything seems very tight. Disappointed in this product!

Awesome reel for trolling Ca. Lake’s for Trout and Kokanee type species. The drag system is really nice and with the line counter it helps one get back into the fish once you find them. The handles on this reel are very comfy and functional when fighting fish, it’s actually one of my favorite items on this reel.

Work well and stores in boat better than the larger line counters. Use them for walleyes and no problem with line capacity or drag.Lexa 100

I found this reel to be exceptional for ice fishing. Its small size works very well with shorter rods (I use 3' rods). I fish a reservoir that has trout, perch, bass, and kokanee, and I like the fact that I can fish a depth consistently, yet accurately adjust to a new depth if another school passes through. I also plan to use the reel for vertical fishing in the summer.

Works excellent for kokanee through the ice.

Many of my walleye buddies told me this is the reel to get. They were right! Compact, smooth and great drag. Highly recommended
