This pineapple peeler works like magic. I honestly never expected peeling and slicing a pineapple to be this easy. It cuts cleanly and evenly with very little effort. Yes, it does have sharp edges (as expected for a tool like this), so you just need to handle it carefully. But overall, it feels sturdy, well-made, and very simple to use. Definitely worth buying — great value for the price.

This is a really handy tool that cores and slices a pineapple in seconds. It’s easy to use, and the included chunk accessory is a great bonus — it quickly turns the slices into bite-sized chunks with minimal effort. The only downside is that it doesn’t work as well on smaller pineapples — it can cut through the sides, which causes juice to leak out and reduces the amount of usable fruit. I’ve found it works much better with larger pineapples, which tend to be sweeter anyway. I now go for the bigger Jaffa pineapples (about £1.60 at Tesco), which give the best results. Overall, a great time-saving kitchen gadget for pineapple lovers — just be sure to pick the right size fruit!

The reason I’m giving 4 stars rather than 5 is that the material does not feel especially great, and I’m not fully convinced about how well it will last over time. It works, but it does not give the strongest or most durable impression in hand. That said, for the actual job itself it is still practical and useful, especially if you prepare fresh pineapple regularly. Overall, a handy tool, but the material quality could be better.

i ordered this product following a conversation with my eldest son-in-law; his is the same type but all plastic construction. I thought the stainless steel would be easier for me to push into the pineapple but unfortunately as I am now 86 years old I don't have the strength to push it into the fruit. My son was able to use it easily and also my eldest grandson; he and his family love pineapple and last weekend when they came for lunch he prepared the pineapple and was very pleased with the result. I therefore decided to buy a second one for them. There was a lot of juice with neat pieces; my great grandchildren (aged 8 and 5) loved watching the fruit being 'sliced' and of course eating it. It is a really good gadget.

Brilliant gadget! Makes perfect pineapple spirals in seconds with almost no mess. So much easier than cutting by hand, and the bright colour is a nice touch. Wish I’d bought it sooner!

Absolutely brilliant cuts the pineapple in circles and cuts the core out as you press down. Exactly as the picture shows.

Wow! What an incredible gadget. Reasonably priced and does exactly what it says it does. Which these days is not a given. Not sure how long it'll last as I've only just bought it, but so far it I'm really impressed.

Personally, worthless to me. It smooshed my pineapple terribly & wasted at least a half cup of juice. Returned. I will continue to use my trusty knife to cut up a pineapple.

Works perfectly! Better than I imagined and really easy too

The easiest way I've ever found to cut a Pineapple. This thing is awesome! If you're not using this tool or something similar, you're wasting time and Pineapple! You get nice uniform slices and/or triangle pieces with very little effort. The separate divider attachment that comes with is key for perfect little triangle pieces. Gets as much as possible out of every Pineapple including juice w/ very little effort. Cleans up really easily too.
