Why does this need a title? Is this a high school English assignment?
Not a clanker, not paid to say this. Damn good knife. Solid, pretty sharp (could be a little sharper but it goes through oranges just fine).

Great "German style" knife.
I have Henckls Professional S and Wüsthof Classic paring knives. This is very similar other than being one tenth the price. I sharpen my own knives and I haven't seen much difference in sharpenability, sharpness, edge retention, etc. I think that steel chemistry and manufacturing techniques have evolved to a point that Solingen's centries-old "secrets" are out of the bag and available at a tiny fraction of the price. As for the product in absolute terms, it's a great knife. Handle is bigger around than some (Henckes size instead of skinny Wüsthof). 3.5 inches is short enough that I can get my thumb to the tip to limit depth when coring strawberries. Curved tip works for those who insist on using a paring knife to cut food lying on a cutting board. At this price, the knife goes into the dishwasher on hot sanitize cycle regularly; I haven't seen discoloring and eventual disintegration of the rivets common with the Germans.

Best $8.95 Knife Ever
I have been unable to find (again) the very nice KitchenAid paring knife I bought a couple of years ago and this Cuisinart version was the closest match. It is really good. Things you want: sharp, long-lasting blade, comfortable and well balanced construction. What I want: forged steel for edge retention and classic construction. The Cuisinart delivers all of these. It worked so well, that I order three more to use in place of my $90 each Wusthof steak knives and they do a great job on steaks. No down-side that I have seen. ***** One reviewer said this knife was available from Walmart for a dollar less. Today, the Walmart price is $19.95,

Great Sharp Paring Knife
This Cuisinart Knife was exactly what I needed to replace my worn out paring knife. It’s beautifully crafted and was sharper than I expected. I’ll buy it again!

Great little knives
Very sharp and versatile. Use to cut up produce as well as for steaks. Come with a nice cover as well.

Nice and sharp.
A sharp not too expensive pairing knife that does exactly what I need. Feels very sturdy and looks nice. Hand wash this to keep it sharper longer. Dishwashers have abrasives in the detergent that will dull a knife faster so you'll have to sharpen it sooner. Myth: Dishwashers dry at a very high temperature and ruin the metallurgy of a knife. False. They don't run nearly hot enough to do this. It's just the abrasive detergent dulling the knife faster.

Great knife
I have been looking for an additional paring knife that is as good as my current knife, made in Japan, bearing the inscription "Diamond Cut" and model 1087-M. The knife I have is a serrated knife, and I use it every day. My efforts to buy another one of equal quality have ended me up with a collection of knives that are very mediocre, until I came across this Cuisinart knife. The Cuisinart knife is not serrated, but very sharp, and comes close to the "Diamond Cut" knife I have. The other thing I like about it is its low price. Once the edge becomes dull, I will have a chance to find out how well it sharpens. So far I have been very pleased.
