This was a Christmas gift for our toddler. He has loved it so much that it has been a fixed item in our living room, as he asked for it pulled out every day. Assembly was easy overall, just a couple of the knobs on the side were slipping when being screwed in, but my husband got them in easily. Still, did not take too long on Christmas Eve to assemble. It comes with a great range of tools and the wood materials are sturdy and easy to clean.

Overall well built and easy to assemble. Mostly good quality of the parts, except some threaded holes on the square block are very oversized so they don't really function with the screws.My other complaint is, even though its made for kids, there are a few things lacking on it that could elevate the learning experience, such as including 4 of the long planks instead of 3, so you could make a 4-bar linkage. The Gears don't seem to mesh up with each other with any of the holes, so no great opportunities to learn about gearing. The table mounted vise is really just superficial as well, and isn't really functional.

Arrived broken, no way to contact company to get replacement before Christmas. Amazon won't exchange and get one to us in time to gift for Christmas. Gave this to my grandson for his birthday. He and his 2.5 yo sister love it. Well made.

It was relatively easy to assemble, it took less than one hour for the whole thing. I gave it to my 18 month old as a Christmas gift and he was so excited about it! HOWEVER, the top panel split in less than 24 hours and minimal play (maybe 1 hour top?). I'm afraid he will get hurt, get a splinter or it will snag on something. For $100, I definitely expected something sturdier/higher quality. Also not thrilled to have to unassemble the whole thing to return.

I fell into an internet hole of workbenches. After comparing so many, I went with this one and am really pleased! It is made well and looks like it will last. Lots of fun parts to keep my 16 month old busy and feel confident that it will grow with him as he starts to understand what they all do. My husband did say that it was a bit of a challenge to assemble, taking him about an hour.

I love this for my nieces! I am hoping it will help them spark the love of building their dad has! It's a very cute kit and has a decent amount f challenging parts for younger kids. I think it will be a great hit!
