The wallet is exactly what I was looking for. Because of my job I constantly find my self with a need for a pen and some paper to write notes, phone #s, emails etc... This product functions as advertised. It should be noted that it only comes with the wallet. No pen, note book or any of the internal accessories are included, so be sure to order those as well if you do not already have them.

I purchased this notebook cover so that my 3"x5" notebooks don't get all wrinkled up in my purse. I like that it has a place for a pen, ID and cards, it also has a spot for cash. I like to keep my "to do list" and my every day observations in small notebooks, and this cover meets my expectations. It also has an elastic band to keep it closed. I don't know how long the elastic band will last, but for now, it works very well.

I bought this field notes cover to replace my wallet and of course to hold my pocket notebook and a pen through out the day. Overall, I love this cover and it is about the same size as my Kindle cover so they are always sitting nicely besidely as I go through out my day. I ordered the brown one, but it looks more gray than brown which doesn't bother me.Pros:- There are a ton of pockets with more than enough room for 3 - 4 cards and cash. (Extra cards can fit in any of the extra large pockets)- It stays flat and offers some nice support for writing on the go.- Made of durable materials and is seemingly durable so far (I've had it for about a month)Slight Cons:- It is slightly too big for my pocket. I wear pretty standard slim fit Levi's jeans and the whole thing will fit in my pocket but its width makes it a bit uncomfortable at times.- You have to be choosy with your pen choice. If you are picky about pens like I am, you might be disappointed by the difference your pen choice can make on the size and the way the cover closes. I like Kaweco Sport pens, but they are too bulky for this case. Instead I have been using a Kaweco Liliput or a Fisher Space Pen.

Love the fabric, looks great and is relatively easy to clean if you get something on it. Includes the pockets for ID, card, cash so its like a replacement wallet/commonplace book which is pretty sweet! If you’re trying to get in the habit of journaling or note taking this will help reinforce big time. Less likely to leave your notebook at home.I will say it is barely and rarely pocketable. Men might have no problem in a backpocket, rarely a front pocket but this is probably better suited to toss in a bag.Fits just about any “pocket size” cashier style notebooks. Currently im using a pretty thin cahier style one but could probably easily add a thicker one. My pen takes up about the size of three cahier so it wouldn’t change how the overall holder closes. Plus there is an elastic strap that will hold it all together.Overall loving it and its made its way to my EDC bag

THE GOOD: handsome and well-made cover.THE FRUSTRATING: Man, i had to wrestle to get the back cover of my Field Notes into the slip. I'm still not happy with the fit.
