Color Depositing Mask Clear

I have Gray/Silver coarse hair. I have Purple hair color without bleaching (thank you, Redkin Semi-perm Amethys) but I would really like to fade to a soft lavender and have been trying to figure out how to do this “gracefully” and without bleaching. And, while this is still fresh, after one washing, I believe this product has given me that chance. I mixed Redkin (Orchid) semi perm color basically just eye balled it, but 2-3 parts MO with the color until you think it looks about right. I made sure to mix a bit more than I thought I would need just so I did not have to make more and try to get the colors to match;) If you’re new to fantasy color, this may be out of your comfort zone. I have long hair, so it can get messy. I did the roots first - as you can see in the pick, my undercut is my gray/silver, and on top is the color mixed with the MO color extender/gloss. I’ll try to get a good shot in the sunlight so you can see the high gloss part. Smells fantastic and makes my coarse hair much softer- added bonus! Imma get some more- this will extend the color, make my hair shine, smell good and softer! Win, win, win, win:) ✌🏼 I only left it on 45 minutes. With a shower cap. So I will be excited to see it when I leave It on for as long as I normally do!!

I LOVE this stuff!! I use it a couple times a week as a deep conditioner for my hair. It works great without leaving residue and it keeps my hair really healthy. I like that it's a clear gloss, too, because I don't want it to change my color, just give me the shine, softness and detangling my hair needs. It does all that and I couldn't be happier with it. I highly recommend this as a must buy.

My hair is fine, straight, long, and naturally grey. I have used pure henna for years and love the color, but the texture is shredded as I wear it up daily; I even sleep with it up. Henna use over decades has parched the ends as well, since my hair is so fine. It's just not as sturdy as some and the stain takes a toll. Moroccanoil shampoo and conditioner work well for me and I took a chance on adding their clear color-depositing mask in with my henna mix (straight henna powder and tap water). I worried that the mask would dilute the henna, but the color results are just as vibrant and my hair texture is vastly improved. It doesn't just feel conditioned, but healthier. Whole. And as much as I love henna, I hate the odor, and it turns out that the Moroccanoil fragrance masks it completely. Triple win. Your mileage may vary, but my hard-to-please hair found new life with this stuff and I am telling everyone I know about it.

Love how my hair feels but its is very fragrant. The scent is nice but wow it is strong. I read how to help reduce that and I will try it next time. I love the results. I will be buying more!

I just bleached my hair to super white blonde. I was sad and crispy. It’s also naturally curly plus I have 20” long extensions! Anyway, this helped my hair so much-if you’re fried-it’s worth a shot! So, fyi I washed my hair with only shampoo then towel dried. I sectioned my hair and used a lot-like a huge handful per section. I combed through with a wide tooth comb. Then waited about 7min then rinsed. I don’t think I rinsed it completely-which could be why some reviews said it felt dry or that it had a residue. Anyway I kept going thinking maybe my hair would just have extra conditioner. I started the long process of a blow out and it took way longer than usual. The hair remained wet longer. After some sections were semi dry I did feel a bit of residual product but the longer I dried that kinda went away. The end result was really nice. My hair had more shine when before it had none. I think when I do it next I will make sure to rinse completely. Overall I’m glad I bought this as now my hair is manageable and does not look too bad considering the damage. This would be incredible on hair that is not bleached or natural. My roots are super glossy. Hope this was helpful

Not bad, but not as glossy as advertised if you have other than straight hair.

This gloss is awesome!! It made my hair so soft and so shiny!! It lasted about 6 washes. My hair felt hydrated and full. It was very easy to apply and it works!! It is not expensive considering how gorgeous your hair will look it’s worth every penny!! It really made my hair gorgeous again!

Great product for hair, good moisture level and it gives a shiny look to hair.

I LOVE these wee masks, they're perfect travelling size and leave your hair soft, shiny and bouncy. So far I've tried the copper and clear, both great for hair condition, the copper tint was lovely and rich. I would buy again in the clear and plan to try the blonde and rose gold tints now my hair is lighter!

Products more of a conditioning treatment than a gloss. My hair was lovely and soft following its use but it wasn’t the ‘salon style’ glossing I was looking for.
