I bought this after reading other reviews thinking it was not going to fit normal-sized pickle spears and planned on using this for olives. I was pleasantly surprised when I decided to try this out, and they fit! To be fair, I had already ate some of the pickles in the jar, so I'm unsure if it will fit a whole jar due to having to put them in at an angle rather than standing straight up. I found the design of the lids (screw-on rather than popping on/off with previous versions) nice as there are 2 little points that stick out to help you open or leverage against depending on which end you are opening. When I washed it, I jerked it around and found that it did not leak at all with lots of movement, let alone just sitting on a counter. The opening of the jar is very wide, which makes it even easier to reach what you are taking out if it happens to be deeper and also helps accomodate more food than what I expected originally. I will be buying another to hold black olives as well now! Would definitely recommend!

This is a great invention! Works like it should, BUT... VERY hard to get open. After opening it you have to make sure you get the rubber on the lid wiped off good, along w/the rim of the glass, otherwise it leaks. After all is cleaned off, after each opening, it works good, BUT is VERY hard to open. After one jar of pickles, I retired this. It's just too hard to open each time.

I love this jar to put either pickles or olives in because they don't leak, I can dishwasher the container and it's easier to open than a jar. I have arthritis in my hands so the little side pieces on the lids are so easy to grab and use my fingers to open and close the jars. I have put various types of pickles, beets and olives in these jars and I have not noticed any staining or smell. These are also great if you work on the road because they don't spill.

Mine work great but I wish they also made a smaller version for smaller amounts; for example capers.

My husband and toddler both love this thing! Both of them love to snack on dill chips. We can flip this over and plop it on the table, and they can munch on them without having to fish them out. We also love that it's dishwasher safe. The only complaint is that if it's not closed tightly, it will leak. Any time our kid puts the lid back on, we have to double check that it is sealed before putting it away. I can't think of a solution to that, though, and that's why I didn't dock a star. It's absolutely worth it!

NOT FOR ARTHRITIC HANDS. I have arthritis in my hands and can not hardly open this container. I have to use a knife to put between the lid and the container to break the vacuum. My hands are not strong enough to open on my own. I have even tried using a silicone pad to get a grip and open. Not even enough strength for that. If you live with someone who has big strong hands, I am sure it wouldn't be a problem, but not for my small arthritic hands... It almost brought tears to my eyes from the pain it caused to try to open it. Best container that strains juice for me is Pickle Jar with Strainer Jalapeno Container with Strainer Pickle Container - 2 Pack Brand: Qiuhome.

Klingt komisch, aber sowas habe ich schon Ewig gesucht. Ich habe es immer gehasst, wenn man mit den Fingern oder der Gabel in diesem Sud rum wurschteln muss. Dann endlich habe ich diesen Artikel gefunden. Ja, der Preis klingt erstmal happig, ganz schön viel Geld für etwas Plastik, aber mal ehrlich, für andere Plastikbehälter geben wir auch Unmengen an Geld aus. Ich finde es super, da ich direkt an die Gürkchen dran komme. Die Deckelt halten auch dicht, also hier gibt es nichts zu befürchten.

leider etwas zu teuer aber es hält dicht, tut was es soll und die finger bleiben trocken beim rausnehmen.
