They're Smartwool. I love Smartwool socks. As usual, these are awesome. I refused to spend this much money on socks for so long. Once I finally did, I discovered a whole new world of comfort. And they seem to last longer than the cheaper cotton socks, so the cost is not as high as I had thought it would be (once amortized over time). Also your feet don't get sweaty like in cotton socks.This particular style is more padded (especially at heel/toe) than some of the thinner "everyday" socks, but is not as thick as their full-on hiking socks. I like these for sneakers that need a slightly thicker sock, and flat boots that benefit from some padding. Not so great with heeled boots since the thicker toe padding can make toes feel cramped (as the foot also slides down a bit in heeled boots). But I wear the thinner Smartwool socks with heeled boots and they're perfect.

These are awesome socks. Smart wools are definitely more expensive but they will change your life! So comfy and you won't get blisters. They keep your feet cool when needed as they wick moisture. Also keep your feet warm in the winter. I don't wear anything else anymore

Love the socks. Stretch easily to get on & fit well. Are soft & warm. Love the extra padding on the bottom - enough for comfort but does not take up too much space in shoe.

These are my favorite hiking socks!! I wore these on an 8 day backpacking trip and rotated a pair of these with a pair of Wrightsock Merino CoolMesh II CREW Sport Sock so they would each have a day to dry in between wears. I was surprised how much I prefered these ones. I still like the Wrightsock, but I felt less foot fatigue, less "hot spots" and drier with these. If they weren't so expensive or I was planning another long hike I would probably own more pairs.

I love this particular Smartwool style - it is a nice balance of warmth and cushioning with snug support that I find very comfortable and practical. Even skiing in Minnesota I find the medium weight too thick - they were thick enough that they don't fit in my ski boots, while these light weight ones are warm and comfortable. Excellent quality, as always. While I like the light gray and aqua colorway, I would really like a few more color options.

As a daily runner, winter times are always a challenge because of snow. I was skeptical since I tried so many brands, but Smartwool is just fantastic. I don't freeze my toes anymore! I tried on 25F weather, so not sure if it could work in a colder environment. Worth it!

I have owned Smart Wool socks for 20 years and the quality is excellent. I was looking to replace my worn-out hiking socks that are probably 10 years old. This sock design is very unique, with great forethought as to be non-chafing, smooth, and no friction where seams come together. Great fit and snugness. No falling down in the boot. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is that they simply were not warm enough on their own. I live in the damp cold Pacific North West and even though temperature lows are in the 40's, these just didn't compare warmth-wise to the old pairs. I tried them with 3 different pairs of shoes/boots and they did an ok job. It could be that my feet just get colder now that I'm in my 60's !!!!!! You may find them to be perfect for you. Definitely love the fit and design!

I love these! Comfortable, breathable, durable. They last forever. I'm super picky about my socks. This is the perfect wool sock.
