Maintenance Kit

The point of the "Klean Kanteen" and the reason it is "Klean" is because it is made from sustainable materials, but also it is because it encourages maintenance and reuse. So it's nice that you can change the gasket of a Klean Kanteen once the gasket breaks up or becomes moldy or mildew.This kit comes with a tool to remove existing gaskets, and two silicone replacement gaskets for the wide cap.The instructions are very clear. Please note that while these replacement gaskets come with a lip to pull the gasket out, that most Klean Kanteen's original gaskets do not have a lip, and that is why you really need the gasket removal tool—so if you are looking at the cap, and don't see a lip to pull, it means you may have to use the tool.

Ordered this to replace a gasket that eventually ripped due to normal wear and tear (constantly removing it to clean the lid properly etc). Works so far, and the tool is useful. You get two gaskets so I don't see needing to buy this again for a good while.

I bring my homemade cold brew to work in my kleen kanteen. Day is ruined if I don't have it. Gotta wash the gasket as well as the insulated thermos because I add milk to it at home. Lost one gasket down the sink and freaked out. Can't use the thermos without it. This was a life saver!

No more funky smell from not removing the gasket with every washing! The little plastic pusher tool is a necessity and makes it all easy.

Easy to remove for regular cleaning. The original seal is difficult to remove and reinstall.If I could not do a thorough cleaning then I was going to switch brands.

Exactly what I needed, and I love that the little tool is included. My old gaskets were getting torn up from using silverware to fish them out to clean them. Replaced my torn gasket and I still have an extra on hand!

今回購入したものは一回り小さくて頑張ってみたけどはまりませんでした。ロットのせい？自分が使用しているのはつまみの無い時代のボトルなのですがもしかしてつまみが付いた時期以降のモデル用なのかな？

水筒のパッキンが見つからず、一か八かで購入しました。始めは無理かと思いましたがチョット無理してはめた所、なんとかはまり水漏れがなく使えそうです。水筒を捨てずにすみました。
