I absolutely love the linkind bulb lineup. I use them with both the linkind app as well as home assistant. The inclusion of matter is such a nice feature. They are super simple to setup thanks to being matter enabled. They are great size for our homes recessed lighting. I thought they’d be warm but they really don’t seem to put out much heat at all. The colors are so much more granular than on other bulbs. I like how you can get them to look and the adjustments can be so fine. They are excellent bulbs that work great. If I had to pick one negative it’d be that the scenes in linkind app aren’t dynamic. But they are very nice nonetheless.

We put these in our kitchen and are loving them! They were easy to install and simple to set up with Alexa. Compatible with our smart device and super easy to control. I’ve had fun changing colors for football games and using a warm glow for everyday lighting. They’re affordable, convenient, and make life easier—turn them on with a schedule or just a voice command. I’ve loved them so much I bought more smart bulbs for our outside lights. Great smart bulbs for the price!

Great, loved the colors and how easy everything was to get hooked into Home Assistant via matter. Had a few of these synchronized in a bedroom and the whites were very comforting, and playing with the colors was fun. I didn't have any issues with these and bought multiple boxes to outfit my whole apartment.

I wanted a light for our bathroom, shower, and poop closet that would dim and not be so damn bright. This light does that. Responds well to the app, no connectivity issues with our WiFi. Works well. Lots of options for different scenes and light settings.

These were easy to link up to my 2.4ghz WiFi network, the AiDot app is easy to use, still learning all the features but so far I’m very happy with these bulbs.

the BR30 1200s don't work with app and app doesn't have the functions the documentation states. i started with Alexa with the two lights. One installed easily and the second was difficult but it finally was recognized in Alexa. I put them in a group and turned them on with Alexa. No problem. changed colors and brightness with out issue. but that's about all Alexa supports. no scenes, color mixes, animation, etc. So i did the app BIG MISTAKE. I set the lights up in the app and the weirdness began. loaded a preset scene and it would work for a few minutes and shut off briefly then start again. over and over. changed presets and same thing. changed to solid colors like i did in Alexa and even tho the app said white, the lights were still in the preset color scene. turned off light switch then back on and same thing. tried another color but the scene still ran i tried Alexa and it would turn them off but they came right back on and the app again said a scene was active documentation talks abt lights not functioning properly and the need to reset the bulbs so i did the 6 on/off and then on and nothing. so they say use the app reset in the device settings for the device. its the recommended fix . only one problem, there is no reset! So i turned the switch off and pulled the bulbs let them set a few minutes and put them back in. tried Alexa again and the lights were still screwed up. tried to reset again and nothing. Tried app and still not doing what its set to and lights go off and on periodically. so i used the app to delete the bulbs, removed them and deleted the app from my phone. Then put the white only floods back in and they work fine thru switch and Alexa. i have a lot of govee lights that are great and problem free on the house but didn't get govee floods because of the reviews. these had better reviews but I've noticed the good reviews are mostly the 650 lights, not the 1200s so beware.

My kids immediately wanted to turn the living room into “Christmas mode” and then “Spooky mode,” which tells you everything you need to know about our house. Setup was straightforward: screw them in, download the AiDot app, and let it walk you through pairing. I use Starlink, and it didn’t give me any grief at all — no fiddling with frequency bands or digging through router settings, it just connected and worked. After that, controlling the lights by voice or routine is a lifesaver when I’ve got hands full of backpacks, lunch kits, or a kid who just remembered they need a permission form signed right now. The bulbs are really bright on the white settings and surprisingly vivid on colour. The ability to dim them or set the exact shade of white is great — especially for evening wind-down, or when I’m up early and don’t want to blind myself. I also love that they track electricity usage in the app since we’re always trying to be conscious of energy in our house. Overall, bright, colourful, easy to control, and honestly just make life a little simpler. I’d happily get more. Linkind build a great bulb and these are really no different from their other products, but with some consistent nitpicks. The good: - Colors: The color reproduction here is great. I suspect Linkind is using a consistent diode for these and their other lights as they are very consistent from one product to another - Brightness: The brightness is the star of the show here. These may well be brighter than my Hue bulbs when maxxed out - Tunable white: Like the RGB colors, the tunable white is really nice and should satisfy anyone's particular preference - Build quality: These lights feel tough, well manufactured, and should hold up over time (though they are not rated for outdoor use) The less good: - AIDot & Wifi-only: This is by far the biggest issue with these bulbs. Setting up an account for yet another app is always frustrating. Linkind has adopted Matter for some of their new bulbs, but that's missing here Bottom line; I really like these and want to like them even more. The bulbs themselves are great and are really only held back by an old app and a proprietary connectivity standard.

The 2 pack of BR30 Smart Light bulbs by Linkind is a type of reflector bulb characterized by its bulged shape and size. The BR stands for bulged reflector and the 30 indicates a diameter of 3.75". While these are primarily used in residential recessed lighting, I have opted for these for an outside flood light, primarily because they provide a wide beam of 110° to 120° which allows for even light distribution without hotspots. These lightbulbs will work with the standard base light fixtures which are E26/E27 and these are E26. Each LED lightbulb is rated at 14 Watts which is the equivalent of 85 Watt incandescent light bulb. These bulbs can be controlled via the AiDot App, Alexa, or the Google home app. NOTE: THESE ARE NON-DIMMABLE LIGHT BULBS. You can control smart dimming with the app using your voice but you cannot have this linked up to a dimmable switch. These bulbs through the app give you access to 104 different present colour scenes, allows you to sync the light to music playing in the room, you can control it via your voice, you can tune the white colour from 1800K which would be considered warm white all the way to 6500K or cold white. Via your voice or the app you can choose any brightness level from 1% all the way up to 100% brightness and works off of your 2.4 GHz WiFi network. IMPORTANT: IT IS RECOMMENDED TO DOWNLOAD TEH AIDOT APP FIRST TO CONNECT THE BULBS, THEN INTEGRATE THEM WITH ALEXA OR GOOGLE HOME. With access to 16 Million colours available through the app and as I mentioned before the 104 presets, I am sure that you will find exactly what you want colour wise in your home or outside shining onto your home or garden. I highly recommend. NOTE: IF YOU ARE USING THIS OUTSIDE PLEASE KEEP IN MIND HOW FAR YOUR 2.4 GHz NETWORK AREA REACHES.

Connecting them to my Google Home was huge since I already have other smart bulbs running. Now I can control everything from one place without juggling apps or ecosystems. The brightness at 1200 lumens is impressive, and the colours are vibrant, not washed out like cheaper smart bulbs I've tried. The AiDot app is easy to navigate with plenty of preset scenes without feeling cluttered. I also like that it shows power usage stats for each group of lights, including total running time for the day or week and actual power consumption in watt-hours, which is useful for tracking energy use. Voice control through Google Home works perfectly with quick response and no lag. One note: these only work on 2.4GHz WiFi, so make sure that network is enabled during setup if your router defaults to 5GHz. For the price, these are excellent value. They provide bright, colourful light that's easy to control and integrate smoothly with Google Home and Alexa. Very happy with these and would consider buying more to replace older bulbs around the house.

They are so easy to set up, yes you need to first download the specific app for these bulbs which means creating an account with the app. But once you set it up through the parent app, you can then connect that account to your Amazon Alexa skill and after that you can control it from the Amazon Alexa app or via Alexa and you dont need the parent app anymore. I put both bulbs in my bathroom so I can now control the light there via my Alexa. I have a routine that in the morning my bathroom light gets automatically turned on around the time when I wake up. The bulbs are also just as bright as any other bulbs from a shop.
