Q: Is the fabric stretched tightly until the two long sides of the frame?

The fabric ends up very tight. Makes it a little difficult to get the screws in

Q: Does this room screen pass through light?

Beige may be a little translucent, but black and grey are opaque.

Q: What is the depth of the panels/poles? I would like to make sure the panels will fit in the space between 2 desks, feet length is not an issue.

The vertical metal poles are 3/4 of and inch in depth.
