comfortable needle, does its job well

I found these 27s to try over my 23s and 25s. First off, the needle and packaging is perfect. In tact, sharp, seems like pharma grade. So product is a clear 5 star. The only con I will mention about the 27 gauge is that, if injecting an oil, and using a larger quantity like I am (between 1 to 3 cc), the 27 is quite difficult to push the oil out of. You really need a good grasp or hand position, depending where you're injecting. Now that comes with a pro - the slower you inject, the less PIP you will have. So, I'm very happy. Thanks

These are sharp and safe needles for many home health purposes.

I have to give myself weekly injections so I wanted to try a smaller gauge needle. I draw my medication with a 22 gauge, and have used those to administer as well and they are fine. However, I've seen many recommendations that a smaller gauge for administration will be less painful. With that in mind I got some 24 gauge, and then also picked up these 27 gauge. Although they are quite sharp (I cut myself a little the first use because I wasn't careful on removal) they actually seem to be more painful on the injection than the 24 Ga. Neither is bad, so I would still recommend them, but I've been using the 24 Ga mostly. Still, it is a large box with lots of needles and they fit on the syringes perfectly.
