I make sushi at home on occasions. I can make it OK with a rolling mat but thought that this might speed up the process. Unfortunately the nori sticks to the plastic and it can get a bit messy. If you find difficulty using a rolling mat then this could be helpful but in all honesty I reverted back to the mat as it was just as messy using these plastic holders. However, if you want to make heart shapes then this could be the answer, beware though you still have to make sure your knife is cleaned and coated with water before making a cut every time.

Not as easy to use as it looks. I think once you get the hang of putting the right amount of rice in it will be much easier. At the minute I personally prefer the rolling rat and get better results from using that. I will keep trying with these because it might just be a case of needing more practice before you reach perfect, but I thought it was going to be much simpler. The knife is a bit flimsy, but definitely sharpen enough for cutting through the sushi rolls

Very easy to use the quality of the product is very good as well

It's not easy to use, my sushi was horrible and some of the pieces didn't fit, I honestly didn't like it, I'm going to use the mat again.
