Best cornbread ever. Sweet and light! My husband raves about it. Easy to make, versatile because you can add ingredients to make Mexican cornbread. Very light and consistency is perfect. Great value for the $. Definitely recommend others to try it.

I wasn’t sure how it would stack up, but honestly? It turned out great. The texture was fluffy, the sweetness was right in the middle—not dessert but not bland—and everyone at the table enjoyed it, vegetarians and carnivores alike. It was easy to make, came out consistent, and didn’t require any wild substitutions. If you’re trying to keep things inclusive without sacrificing flavor, this is a solid pick. Dolly delivered.

Very moist cornbread. Not to my liking. I like to slice the bread and add butter and jelly or cover it with beans. When I made this cornbread it just fell apart when trying to slice it. It is also sweeter than I like but may be right for you. I think jiffy is a bit better. I grew up eating my mom’s cornbread cooked in an iron skillet with bacon grease so my ideal is more cornmeal, less flour, more body to the bread. I might try it again and add some cornmeal.

Great taste, lightly sweet & nice density. Easy to prepare. It's the only cornbread we eat now.
