I am a regular gym goer.I always do weights training and lifting free weights barbells.So when we lift the dumbbells or barbells, there surface is very rough in nature for attending proper grip on your palm of hand.Due to roughness on the dumbbells and barbells when you lift them, they form friction on your palm skin to attend the grip.However due to the friction of the dumbbells and barbells, it erode the skin near the finger joints and sometime it is very painful.It also makes your very very rough and you loose all the smoothness from your palm of hand.Though some gym goer kinda like this roughness in palm area of hand, I am not a big fan of it, I need to meet lot of people in day shake hand, rough finger makes it look bad thats what I think, people may differ on that with me and I totally agree.I had my previous weight lifting gloves which I lost during transit so I purchased this Weight Lifting Padded Leather Gloves Fitness Training Body Building Gym Straps W-1023.Quality of this weight lifting gloves looks pretty nice to me.Also they provide the added grip near your wrist section so that you don't need to buy an extra pair of wrist support band, which people generally buy when they do very heavy lifting.Size of this gloves is also perfectly fits on my hand, so no complaints on that.I am taking out one star from my rating because these gloves have some pungent smell, like one you get fish market, I really didn't like it, manufacturer of this gloves should have taken care of this.Gloves provide excellent grip when you are doing weight lifting, so that is really nice.Since it covers the finger joint portion of palm, dumbbells and barbells don't leave the rough skin.Leather quality of the gloves is also very nice I liked it.Lots of padding is provided near the palm section of your hand, that is really good part of the gloves.Stitching of the product which my biggest concern in any gloves I buy, luckily stitching on this weight lifting gloves is nice, no loose ends.Velcro on the gloves is also very good, it holds the rubber grip very nicely and firmly so that is good thing, normally I have velcro straps on gym gloves are poor quality.********************************Full Disclosure:I purchased this product at a discount in exchange for my review.I was not influenced by the seller to leave a positive review and I am not associated with them in any way.

I have rather large hands for a woman, so I ordered a "Large." But these turned out to be WAY too big. They're adjustable, but could not be adjusted enough to fit my hands without bunching up. Other than that, this seems to be a well-made product and a good value for the price. Just be sure to order the smaller size if you're uncertain which size to get.

The picture is of some sort of belly band??? The gloves are pretty good quality at an GREAT PRICE! The thumb holes are a bit sloppy-lose--they buckle up when I grab a bar. The pinky hole is too long. The wrist straps are good for protecting your wrists from lifting straps or hooks, but they do not offer a lot of real support. This is actually fine for my purposes, but if you have weaker wrists and your lifting fairly heavy dumbbells, they many not be adequate.I have the XXL size.

Nice light padding help protect the nerves in you hands when pushing the limit. Adjusts very well. I almost gave up lifting due to hand pain. These cured the problem.

Good price, very good quality, and the best thing: They are comfortable! couldn't ask for more! (Actually I might order a couple more) A great product!

I ordered these as I have been getting back into fitness and I am finally starting free weights. I ordered a Medium as I am 5'5. I liked the snug feeling when I put on the gloves, and the contact area with the bar is very solid and well padded. I did not like the difficulty getting the gloves off, but I am not sure I should order the next size up to see if that helps. The price point is great for what you get here.I did think that the gloves are well made, they have a great look to them. Even my brother who is a Marine and a regular lifter said that although he does not really like or wear lifting gloves, they looked pretty good.If you're not lifting, I could see these for some punching action, or at least I felt like I could do a little punching bag type stuff with these on.Again, if you have even slightly meaty hands you may want to order one size larger than you think. All around though, these were an okay purchase that I don't regret.I was provided a discount in exchange for an honest review. I really wanted to give these a 5 star, but due to fitting issues which could have been my mistake although I think my hands are medium, I have to give them a 4. The gloves are a solid value and as long as you nail the sizing you should be good to go.
