Stainless Steel Work Table Food Prep 24 X 30 with Double Undershelf

Just so you know, the top is polished stainless steel but the shelves are galvanized steel. I didn't realize that when I bought it but I think that's how all these S/S prep tables are.Also, so you are aware, this type of table is not as quick and easy to put together as wire shelving. You should have measuring tape and a leveler handy to get it right. Take time to tighten each screw a little on one leg, then the other leg, etc., then back around to all the legs until it's completely tight.I used this table to replace an electric stove. I don't use ovens very often and I don't need four burners -- I use mostly an electric pressure cooker, electric skillet, etc., so having this instead of a stove/range, gives me more counter/prep space. It fits right in between the cabinets where the 30" range was.

I got this to insert into where a very old stove/oven unit was. I decided to go for a 1300 watt hotplate and just keep the kitchen set up simple. The work table fit perfectly and was easy to assemble, came with the set screws and a tool to tighten them. It took a small amount of time to figure out how to assemble it, since it did not come with instructions. It was actually missing two of the set screws, but they were standard and I got two replacements at Home Depot. The company reimbursed me for my purchase. The middle shelf should be done first, then the bottom, then the top. I found it was easier to do the first shelves sideways, and then do the set screws, and put the top on last and then do those set screws, and then a little fine tuning and tweaking. I gained more shelf space through this and have a solid metal counter that feels safe to work above. I eventually want to put a small metal sheet on the wall for a spatter guard. All in all, the table is doing everything I expected it to, was easy to assemble, and had decent customer support behind it.
