Featherstone Backbone 1P tent
Set up took me a second because there’s no instructions on how to do so but I figured it out. Slept the night in the tent with a Big Agnes Rapide SL mattress, anything wider would be pushing against the sides too much. Very roomy for a 1P trekking pole tent and great micro features. The adjustable cords have awesome tie downs to them. Adjustable tension spots to not only secure the tent but make it more upright. Slept great, great ventilations. Take down of all my sleeping gear took my 10 min. The material is great, and very thin. The zippers seems sturdy, it does catch a little of the corner of the bug fly, but I could probably secure the tent base and take that issue out. Honestly for the money, I was pleasantly surprised. Taking this tent on a high country mule deer hunt, need to be able to move quick and have a quality nights sleep. I think with this I will be able to achieve that

A Lightweight Gem with Some Quirks
This tent is a dream for ultralight enthusiasts, clocking in at a trail weight of just 2 lbs 11.5 oz (1.23 kg) with 6 stakes, 2 ram hooks, and the stake bag. Made from 15-denier sil-nylon with a 2000mm polyurethane coating, it’s seam-taped and waterproof, keeping you dry in light rain, as one reviewer noted after using it in the Adirondacks with no condensation at 10°C. The single-wall design cuts weight and makes setup a breeze—stake the four corners, slot your trekking poles (not included) into the reinforced sleeves and grommets, and you’re done in under 5 minutes. The 40/60 pole placement and tapered floor (50” head, 43” foot, 85” long, 45” high) maximize headroom, fitting two full-size sleeping pads without feeling cramped. Dual doors and vestibules are a huge plus, offering easy access and space for gear like backpacks or boots. Amazon and SectionHiker reviews praise its durability in wind and rain, with one user saying, “It’s half the price of most UL tents and holds up great

First time trekking pole tent
I haven't used a trekking pole tent before so I did a test setup. It's a little confusing at first, but once you set out the guys it helps make sense. The tent has nice quality stitching and zippers and the vestibule is of a decent size. It could use a couple more pegs. It's very light and small. Happy with the purchase so far but have to see how it does in the weather. Excellent value.

Awesome Tent!
Great tent, easy to set up. It's going to get tested in some major winds in a couple weeks, but I'm confident it'll be up to the challenge. Also, the Big Agnes Rapide SL (tapered) fits inside perfectly.

Great budget tent
I've been using a six moons design lunar solo tent for a good while. It's a great tent but I wanted more room and this tent checks the box. For one person it is very spacious with lots of headroom. It only weighs 11 ounces more than my lunar solo. Sets up easy with two trekking poles which I always have with me whenever I am backpacking. For the price it has a lot to offer.

Great quality!
This is a really awesome tent! I’ve set up a few times! It took a few tries to get it set really well, but it’s a really nice tent! Extremely well ventilated, very light weight! I would buy this over so many others!I’m just a normal person so I can’t really afford the other ultralight tents so this is perfect for me. I don’t plan on ever getting another backpacking tent.Just set it up last night to undergo a night of 35 mph wind gusts and heavy rain. And a day of rain back to back. And while it did develop a puddle in the foot end of the tent (outside) the inside remained dry except for a puddle that I’ll have to investigate further.

Good value for the money and light weight
Ok I have a love, hate relationship with this tent.I bought it for backpacking the AT. To shave some weight off my pack and after some research I decided to go with a trekking pole supported tent. This tent had the best reviews and was somewhat in my price range. What I like; It is fairly easy to set up once you get the hang of it ... can stand with a minimum of 6 stakes ....and is fairly light and compacts small enough to not take up a whole lot of room in your pack. And it is roomy enough inside the tent to hold my pack as well. However, the vestibules are large enough to set the pack under as well., though I just set my shoes out there and used it to make my coffee on this rainy morning. What I don't like: It is very finicky, everything must be tight and adjusted throughout the night if the weather gets iffy, which makes for very poor sleep. Also it takes a lot of room so you absolutely must have a large enough area to set it up and cant move it around easily if you discover the location isn't just going to work.To save weight yes you can make it with 6 stakes BUT if it rains or is very windy you are going to want more and hope you have a place to use the extra guy lines. If not water will pool up one tent side. it is not big enough for 2 people with sleep pads comfortable either. All in all it is decent tent for the money ...it is light weight and does what it is supposed to. But for me, after a long day on the trail it is a lot off work. I don't feel like it is a set it up and not worry about type of tent when weather conditions are not perfect.Im glad I did not submit this yet as I have an update... I am returning this tent as after 3 days of rain my puddle on the side ( with all guideline used and pulled as tight as they will go) has turned into a lake .. although the inside is still dry which I guess is plus as long as you stay way from the dip.
