Book not to gain knowledge but how to create wealth
“The Big Bull of Dalal Street” is a book not to gain knowledge but how to create wealth. Having known RJ for more than 2-decades, it took me more than 10 years to understand his investment style and what goes behind multi-baggers despite meeting him at regular interval of time for more than a decade. The book is a good compilation of the facts-a must read for the first-time investors and needs to be read multiple times to build a good portfolio. The most important part of the book is the chapter on the mistakes even the most legendary investors like RJ made and how once should avoid. Even if 20% of the content is applied in portfolio building, one can sail through with good returns in the long term. If someone is trying to know the life of RJ than this book is not for them and its better see his interviews and on-line information.

Don’t buy this! A cash grab released in a hurry to make money
It is a lazy attempt at chronicling the life of a great man. There are spelling errors and grammar mistakes abound especially in one of the later chapters. The information given in this book is from publicly accessible resources and few interviews with tv personalities. Just a waste of time and money. I bought the book because I admire the writer Neil Borate but it looks like this was nothing more than a weekend hobby for the authors rather than their full time job. Disappointing. Avoid this book!

Very valuable book
Good book to study about Rakesh Jhunjhunwala's successful journey in stock market. We can learn from this book how risk reward has been handled by big bull of India and how to keep faith on market when situation is not in investor's favour. I learned many valuable things as a retail investor in stock market.

Simple, succinct yet powerful
I really liked the book for the sake of such simple and easy writing which not only kept the topic interesting but also provided a lot of valuable insights into the life of late legendary Invester Mr. Jhujhunwala. I have been following Aditya on Twitter for long and have been immensely benefited by his wisdom and teachings shared through his posts and blogs.I hope he writes few more book which can focus on specifics and psychology of long term investing along with his insights on business valuation and analysis.I highly recommend to read this book so you can really understand the life of Warren Buffett of India and his investing journey.
