works well, just dont use the recommended instructions.
Not for everyone. This stuff was terrible the first time I used it. Mixing the compounds, trying to mold it around my earpiece and then shove it in my ear to mold to my ear. Then the stuff slides off and you do not get a good fit. Ugh!BUT WAIT. If you have a drill you can get the best ear buds ever. Ditch the part where you mold it the eardbud. Mold it to your ear only. Let it dry for a day then drill a small hole for the sound to go into the ear canal about halfway into the bud. Then drill a hole slightly smaller than the eardbud speaker. Make sure this hole penetrates the ear canal hole you just drilled. Then bam! Perfect fit earbud!

Much to be desired! Try alternate method
I bought 2 sets in the event I made any errors. The first package failed miserably. It did not adhere to the earbud, and the fit left much to be desired. Because of these failures, I don't know if the end product actually isolates outside sounds from the produced sound. Looking at other reviews, I will try an alternate method and see where that gets me. I will review again after the alternate method is finished. Round 2; instead of a set of 3, I divided the components into two equal parts. Molded to my ear first, then used a drill to bore a hole through the earpiece. Fitted my earbuds, and everything worked fine. May need to glue buds to earpieces, but they fit fine and sound good.

Great stuff
I have a waterproof MP3 player for swimming. The earbuds that came with it are fine, but the cushions hurt my ear canals when I get them in far enough to seal. This goop was easy to use. I followed the instructions, but just molded earplugs, without installing the earbuds at first. After the goop cured, I used a drillbit (and my fingers, not a drill) to put the appropriate sized hole in the plug, and my earbuds plopped in beautifully.I advise users to mold a bit of foam into the upper part of your ear rook, as this helps hold the plug in place, and makes it hard to mix up which ear is which. After about 5 months of swimming 5 days a week, my molded earplugs finally disintegrated. While I was looking for more of this goop to order, I tried putting a hole in the xmas tree style earplugs that came with the kit. They ended up being perfect for my ear and for my MP3 player! But the foam stuff works, and it's super comfy. YMMV.

Big increase in bass!
It sounds great. I used half the product for each ear – nothing left for a third plug. The two parts were mixed vigorously. I waited 15 minutes (not 5) for it to set in the ear and waited 24 hours before drilling. I then used a small drill for the earphone hole. The drill size was gradually increased to make the hole just large enough for the earphone. This was done by hand – no electric drill used. I wanted an increase in bass response and I got it. Pictures attached.

Waste of money and time
I had very high hopes for this stuff and was utterly disappointed. The instructions are almost too small to read, with tiny illustrations that are impossible to make out and useless. Using with earbuds, the material is greasy and slides around while trying to mold in ear. It's impossible to get it to stay still long enough to get a quality seal once it is hardened. While molding, some of the material was pushed in to one of the ear buds likely ruining it.There is not enough of the material. When I finally got one to set in my ear I noticed that it was not nearly enough to cover the area and seal once hardened. I think it may have worked if there was at least 50% more of the goop to cover the bud and seal my ear canal, but definitely not enough to do both.

Good if you follow the other directions
Per another review, I molded these into my ears like they were going to be regular earplugs and not around the headphones. Afterwards, I drilled a hole with a regular ol' drill bit that was slightly smaller than the "tube" of my earbuds, pushed them in, and it worked great.

Don’t buy. Get Radians
Do not buy. I’m pretty sure I got a counterfeit product. It did not arrive in packaging shown on listing. Putty also came in plastic dipping cups. You get half the putty radians offers for same price. Scam. I feel cheated

Worst product I have ever bought!
This product is terrible and I am sorry I bought it. I thought the product would mold to my ear and become a rubberized cushion in my ear. WRONG It is simply a soft putty that never takes shape and remains wet and sticky to both your ear and the ear bud.
