LEE Filters LEE100 FHWAAR43C Wide-Angle Adapter Ring 43mm Diameter Black Camera Accessory

I have a number of Lee filters and use them on Nikon and Bronica lens. This adapter I have just used for the first time on a 24mm wide angle Nikkor. It worked a treat, no darkening of the corners at all. Quality of the product is up to the usual very high standard of Lee filters. Some darkening in the corners on a 20mm lens but not enough to worry about as it can be removed in post processing.

The Lee system is the best out there and you need one of these adapters for each different lens diameter. Build quality fine and this wide-angle version minimises the potential vignetting on very wide lenses, as well as working fine on standard and telephotos. The price does seem high for such a simple item - if you don't go wider than 24mm or equivalent, the standard version is less pricey.

Excellent quality and does the job !

I got into HDR photography 3 years ago, and found that a lot of time is taken up in post processing. As a result I wanted to buy some ND filters for landscape photography to capture what I wanted in camera (but don't get me wrong I will still do HDR). I have been put off by the many reports about vignette problems with the adaptor ring and the filter holder, plus some adaptor rings have white writing that is reflected back into the lens and is picked up in your photographs.Buying a good set of ND hard edge filters, holder and adaptor ring is not cheap (you could buy a good compact camera for what they cost), so I was nervous about taking the plunge.I have a Canon EF-S 10-20mm lens, and was told by a tech support person at a major UK camera dealer, that I would only be able to use the lens from 15mm to 20mm due to vignette issues. That was over 12 months ago, but I was still determined to take the plunge.In the past week I read a review on Amazon.co.uk that they had the same 10-20mm lens, and didn't have any issues with vignette. Well I'm happy to say I jumped off my cliff and just bought the 77mm adaptor, along with the Lee Filter Holder Foundation kit and the Formatt Hitech 100x150mm Graduated ND filter kit. In 5 minutes I was outside taking photos and I'm really happy with the results.So the moral of this story is, read reviews, write reviews and pass on your experience so others can further their photography vice.P.S. Isn't it funny how we don't want vignette in our photos, but we add it later - funny that eh !!

Strong robust product. Prompt delivery.

This is obviously required with the Lee kit and you need this if your lens if wider than 24mm if you use a 35mm (FX) size sensor. It is very expensive buying Lee equipment but is well made. Remember if you use a wide angle lens then you would need the the Wide-Angle adaptor or you will see the edge of the holder at the widest point of the lens.

Bought this to use with the Fuji 10-24mm on the Fuji XT2. Superb camera and superb lens. This adapter allows Lee Filters to be used and the wide angle gives no vignetting even at 10mm. Goods arrived on time. Very pleased.

I've a number of Lee filter and accessories so I knew there would be no problem with the quality (and there isn't!). Needed a new size of adapter to fit a new lens. Checked prices and Amazon was competitive and it was available on Prime delivery. So I bought it and it was delivered the next day - so I am now ready for some new photography adventures. This is how buying things should be. Highly recommend product and great delivery service.
