Unique and eye-catching
I was originally introduced to this light via RH, but at a much much higher price. So, I was really pleased to see that a version of this unique and beautiful light is now available at a less expensive price on Amazon. The quality might not be exactly the same, but it’s very good at this price point, considering that I am comparing it to a light that is hundreds of dollars more expensive. So, I’m thrilled to get this light and see it priced at such a reasonable price that makes it a great value. The gold color of the light isn’t too brassy, or too warm toned. The cord of the light is flexible and covered in’s black material and thankfully, mine hung straight right out of the packaging, unlike some other lights that I recently put up (and will likely be replacing). The glass portion is heavy, but that’s necessary to achieve the look of the raindrop and the glass is thickest at the bottom. The little extra weight of the light should not be a problem for most pendant light setups, just make sure that you have a decent setup when putting it up so that you don’t end up dropping it. I had an electrician put this light up and I was told that it included everything that was necessary to install the light. So make sure that you’re comfortable working with electricity if you are going to be wiring this light. Finally, this takes an E12 bulb and these range greatly, from a smaller incandescent-like bulb commonly used for salt lamps, to numerous styles of LED light. I am currently deciding between a small standard led light (which has long filament-like wires) and a small Edison-style LED light (these come in an array of styles, such as spiral wires and those that look like a bird’s nest). There’s also the option of choosing a clear LED light or an LED with amber colored glass. All of these will give you different looks for this light. I prefer the Edison bulb because of the way the warmer light plays off the glass. I don’t currently have this installed on a dimmer switch, but we are going to add one shortly and I will update this review if we run into any issues with the functionality of the light. However, as we have had no issues thus far, despite switching back and forth between lights (which requires removing the glass), I feel pretty confident that that won’t change. This isn’t a cheap light, but that reflects its quality and craftsmanship and I would not hesitate to buy more of these lights, which is something that I’m currently considering for our nightstand area. I recommend this light without hesitation as it really is a beautiful and unique conversation starting piece that you’ll love!

Ok
I was very disappointed in these, they are very nice but hard to install. And one of the screws was defective. So I returned

Cool large glass teardrop light
This pendant light has a lot of potential. But, you’re putting the light bulb on display. It’s important what bulbs you use because when it’s on, the bulb is amplified and that’s mostly what you see. Personally, I think it gorgeous when it’s off, but, when you turn on the light, the bulb takes over. The opening that you have to get the bulb through is going to be a limiting factor as to what bulb you choose..There are a lot of options there. I used an LED Edison style bulb, but think it will require a dimmer switch to work well…..

Attractive pendant
The light came well packaged. The surface on the bulb socket was scratched a little, but it may not be noticeable once the light is hung. There was a small air bubble in the glass, but it is not too noticeable from afar. There is plenty of cord, so it will be easy to adjust the height. If you have several pendants, I would mark the point at the chord, which meets the Mounting plate with painters tape. I think this is the most affordable of the teardrop pendant lights. The socket shape is slightly more rounded than some of the other teardrop pendant light models that does not bother me. Much cheaper than RH teardrop light. I think the video which shows installation is helpful in assembly but I think it’s easier to add the glass glove last, since it is heavy. Very nice look over an island, or vanity nook/small space.

Beautiful upscale light fixture
I love everything about this pendant light. The depth of the glass gives it quite an upscale effect. It's a substantial piece, and I'm thinking about another at varied heights would be more interesting. Love it!

Lovely glass, rough metal
This is a large, very heavy glass piece that is much thicker at the base of the glass than the sides, so it's going to diffuse the light very nicely. The brushed brass plate is also very nice and sleek looking. However, beware of the post and socket. I sliced my finger on the pole because there were some very sharp edges (marked in red). The light socket has some sharp edges as well, plus what looks like corrosion of some kind. That's very disappointing for a hundred-dollar light. I'm going to buff those edges and see if it's still bronze afterwards If not, I'll touch them up with black paint on the edges, then I'll hit all of it with a clear coat. So I'll make it work and look awesome - but again, that's not the workmanship you expect on (what I consider to be) a pricey fixture.

Nice, but clear
I ordered this because they had a light tinted glass finish on them, but what I got was clear glass. They look much better in the pictures on the product page but they're aren't too bad. They are a bit heavy so make sure your ceiling can carry the extra weight.
