AduroSamsung Galaxy Note 8 Holster Shell Case - Combo Series, Super Slim Shell Case with Built-in Kickstand and Swivel Belt Clip Holster for Samsung Galaxy Note 8 (Black)

I've used Aduro holster shell cases for my Note 4 and Note 8, and they have provided good protection despite a number of drops. The only problem I have found that keeps it from 5 stars is that the little folding kickstand is not real durable and does not support the phone in portrait mode, as the phone is too top heavy for the position of the stand. I have also found that wireless charging works well through this case.

Was not expecting something of this quality and durability, so very pleasantly surprised. The heavy duty rubberized edges and hard plastic body could probably withstand the torture and abuse of two (yes 2) 5 year olds bent on destruction!I ordered it because the card compartment slides out from the bottom instead of a flimsy door on the back. I wish it had a larger capacity (three business cards max), but still happy with it.It is NOT a lightweight case, so keep that in mind. It will add weight and dimension to your phone.

I purchased this case recently and received it on a timely basis. I think the case is a very good value and overall quite good.One very big design flaw is that the lip of the case at the bottom of the phone where the charging cable is connected, the lip extrudes far enough down that the cable cannot be connected to charge the phone. The cable cannot be completely inserted into the phone. If you have a case that does not allow you to charge the phone, there is no need for a discussion on the case functionality since it makes the phone non-funtional. No-one should be expected to remove the case everytime you need to charge the phone.This seem to be a fatal design flaw.

Looks good and felt like it was built pretty solidly when I rec'd it. The clip started to have problems right away. The spring lost it's tension which resulted in me having the case drop off my belt fairly often. The problem worsened to the point i only use half the case and carry it in my pocket. The stand that folds out to act as a stand broke within two weeks. Maybe I just got a bad one, I am not sure. Cannot say I would recommend it.

I always broke my Notes 10 case after a few months so decided to buy a cheaper one this time. Despite its quality is also cheaper, the stand behind the case can't hold the phone standing vertically. No problem to keep the phone stand horizontally. This will break again soon and will go back to my expensive one for the next case. Will not buy it again.

I didn't have very high hopes for the longevity of this product, but it still missed the mark. The belt clip became loose after a single day. It still functions technically, but you can easily lose the phone if you're not paying attention. Avoid if possible.

This case feels really nice in the hands. Looks pretty sleek and really gets the job done for it's price. My only issue so far is that the Kickstand can be a little hard to take out and put back in when you snap it all that way, and also the kickstand won't hold the phone in "portrait" mode ( Standing straight up) because I think the phone is top heavy. It also work well with wireless charging! If you're like me who cares a lot about presentation, especially in the work place, I'd go with this one.

There is so much wrong with case. First, the plastic is "slippery" in the hand. Does not help with grip.Second, the USB and headphone jack is not accessible without modifying the case.Third, the phone in the case will not fit into the holster with the screen pointed out.For the price, you get what you get, but the functionality is poor.
