Medacure Hospital Bed Table, Mahogany - Overbed Table with Wheels & Adjustable Height - Food, Laptop, and Reading Overbed Desk - 50lb Capacity Over The Bed Table

I used an 17mm wrench and Philips screw drive for assembly. There is no paper work with this but it is pretty easy to figure out how to put it together. This over the bed table has a very sturdy and heavy base compared to cheaper ones. It also has a 26" opening(rather that 24") which allows my wife's manual and powered wheelchairs to fit under it. The base height is 3 5/8" and it goes under all of our furniture. The column has a 4 5/8" welded base that then bolts to the frame. Very solid. The top mount is very solid with a 8 3/4" metal base that it mounts to with 6 bolts. The top itself has a slightly pebbled finish that gives it a nice look. It is a laminate and not vinyl. So far a strong 5 star table.But the negative of the lift mechanism drops it to no more than 3 stars. Very difficult to move at lower heights. Even with its very heavy base you need to put your foot on it to move it up. Not something that a person in bed or in a wheelchair could do. At middle heights it is rough but acceptable. In addition if you lift it up it will not stay there unless you pause, release the lever and then move it a bit higher to lock in a position. I found the best over all height for my wife and leave it there.added 3/1I was going to keep it but the height adjustment was just too difficult. I would rate the replacement that I just received the 5 stars mentioned above. I just swapped out the column and kept the base and top I had. This one works the way it should. Smooth and easy to adjust at all heights.

Got this to use after 2 back surgeries - worked perfectly! We now keep it in our room for morning coffee, etc. Easy to roll out of the way when not in use.

Arrived on time. Very sturdy. Great quality. Easy to assemble. Only downside was that if it's being used by the elderly or disabled it takes some strength to adjust the height and it's kinda hard to maneuver on thick carpet.

This is table is so stable! I feel it was very well made unlike my last table. The assembly was very easy for me. The casters help the table move smoothly and easily around even on carpet. Adjusting it to different heights is easy and the heights are at perfect levels for my use. The table top is a perfect size and of good durable material. I highly recommend this table! Thank you!

3 of the 6 predrilled holes do not line up from the base of the table to the table top.

Solid table , rolls great. Super easy to put together , only a couple of parts to assemble not tools needed. Works great and doesn’t look cheap or like a hospital table. Pleasant looking wood top and very sturdy frame . Adjusts up and down super easy. Definitely recommend for an elderly person or someone needing to be in bed for awhile.

I don’t usually write reviews but this item upset me. Arrived with locking wheels prebroken, the levers were broken off, maybe a shipping problem. There were no directions at all but not hard to figure outthink assembly. Went together OK but the raise lower mechanism is severely crimped (yes, I removed the locking screw) and I have to stand on the bottom frame and lift with both hands to get it to raise up. Then I noticed it scrapped the paint off the lower leg. Going down is another thrash. I’m old, my wife is bed bound and I needed this so will get by but not happy with the purchase. Not worth the price, or any price for that matter.
