Our kitchen has hardwood floors. So, we are always concerned about water leaking onto the floors and damaging the wood. We decided to try these detectors. They work fantastic. I tested each one before I put them to use. One under the refrigerator, one under the dishwasher, one under the kitchen sink and one behind the wash machine in the laundry room. It was super easy to link these to my WiFi and then to install them on the App. They are programmed to notify me of leak through the App. They also send me a text message and send both my wife and me an email. This is in addition to the loud beeping sound they make. The sensors are small and fit under the refrigerator. When testing, they were very sensitive to water. The gateway stays plugged in and the batteries (2 AAA) in each detector (supplied) lasts for 5 years. The gateway is compatible with all Govee devices. So, I was able to link the thermometer and relative humidity detector in our crawl space to the gateway. Previously, I needed Bluetooth and being nearby to pick up the temperature in the crawl space....now it is over WiFi and I get the signal anywhere. A fantastic product.

I have several Govee products. I love the simplicity of this water leak detector. Set up is a breeze and went EXACTLY as described. (5 stars just for that fact 😀). Once plugged into the electrical outlet, the connection to WIFI of the hub unit is straightforward. In the Govee app. you are able to name each sensor to the appropriate location. You can adjust the alarm volume and set up alerts to your email address (in addition to the alert in the app.) I tested each sensor, they are super sensitive and react in seconds. I placed sensors in the HVAC cupboard (pity I didn’t buy this last year, the a/c condensate alarm failed and we had $4000 worth of damage ☹️), under the sinks, washing machine and refrigerator. If you’re like most folks the last time you pulled the washing machine out - was the day it was installed. For me that was 10 years ago. Today, while cleaning and placing the leak detector behind the washing m/c I noticed a very small leak where the stainless steel hose connects (to the screw connector 😳). I guess I got lucky this time !

Incredible item. Setup could be a tad bit easier and I feel that the manual is written by a chimpanzee and could be streamlined in a better way so as to make the set up much more intuitive and seamless. That being said once you know what they're talking about in the manual, the set up goes very quickly and easily. The product itself is top notch it already saved us with a leak in our upstairs HVAC furnace. Our home has two HVACs and we had a new humidifier installed on one of the HVACs and we wanted to ensure the new install wasn't dripping. So I set one of the 4 Govee detector node under the humidifier and as soon as a few drips of leak happened the unit immediately alerted me on my phone in real time. I LOVE how responsive and reliable it is and it did the job excellently that I purchased it for. Not to mention that this node was easily at least 75 feet away from the wifi bridge. Even then it caught the leak and relayed it to my phone within seconds. Very impressed and Highly recommend it.

App is very user friendly and easy to use. Just need to follow the instructions, step by step. I tested a couple of sensors with very little water and all good.

These work like a charm to detect water leaks before they cause major damage. The hub and detectors come pre-paired together for very easy installation. If you want to un-pair any (i.e. to pair with a different hub somewhere else), that's easy and fully supported. The alarm can be configured with 3 different loudness levels plus silent (app alert only) and the loudest setting is about 90-db so you'll hear it anywhere in your home. The app is easy and intuitive. The notifications work well for any water detection. Careful note though if you have specially configured Wi-Fi, these devices support only 2.4-GHz Wi-Fi; they do not support 5-GHz or 6-GHz.

Fantastic product. Consumes very less battery and very effective and responsive. This is a big savior and an excellent protection agaisnt water damages that can lead to expenses in 100k+ in repairs. Very long range and an excellent customer support

These are functioning just great. All together, we bought 16 to place throughout the house and crawl space. We like that they are picked up on a cell phone. We have actually tested a few after being in place, and the signal works. We felt like we got a good deal, based on everything else we have seen on the market. We don't find the signal, when testing, to be especially loud. They were easy to set up. We didn't buy them all at once but added orders later after we felt confident they would work.

Awesome product. Can get alerts on phone from a long distance. Saved insurance lots of money has detected 3 water leaks in a years time. Everyone should have them especially in condos and apartments. They detect water puddles and u place them where pipes might drip of water etc.

Pedi estos sensores ya que tengo un hermano con discapacidad que suele dejar las llaves abiertas del lavamanos hasta que se desbordara el agua en los baños, afortunadamente esta solucion me ayudaria a resolver este problema, probe cada sensor para colocarlos en cada lavamanos de mi casa pero mi sorpresa fue que uno llego defectuoso en todo lo demas funciono bien y pueden ser desactivada la alarma desde la aplicacion.

I’m really glad I found this GoveeLife smart water leak detector set. It’s one of those things you don’t think about until there’s a problem, and I wanted to prevent any water damage before it happens. I set it up exactly how I needed — I bought trays and placed them under my kitchen sink, two bathroom sinks, and washing machine, then put one detector in each tray. Since purchased fortunately I have not had any water leak for this to really work and it's a good thing. However I did test it before placing the sensors at places I want to be protected by dropping a few drops of water on the sensors and they all did sound the alarms loud and clear. Installing/setting up was a piece of cake. Of course I would and also advise those who buy these products to test the sensors from time to time to make sure it's still working just to have peace of mind. Thinking to buy a few more sensors in order to have even more places covered!

It is kind of hard to review a product you hope you never need! But installation was easy, and I did test it out by dripping water on it and by putting it down on a slightly wet floor after mopping. It worked. I had a non-smart alarm near my internal ac and water tank, and the ac started to leak. That alarm alerted us right away, we shut it off, and saved us potentially thousands in water damage. Investing in this product is a no brainer.
