Maya Chai Tea Concentrate, Heritage Recipe, Original, 6 Fluid Ounce

My wife absolutely loves this chai. She has a chai aficionado so that is saying something. She really enjoys the flavor and it has the perfect smoothness. She’s sitting right next to me telling me what to write.

This is oookay not great I first tried it at a place in Flagstaff and wanted to be able to make it at home…it’s not as spicy as I remember and I prefer the tazo or Oregon chai to this one. Too expensive for the size as well.

Good flavor but pricey for amount you can make.

I am very particular about my chai, and dislike when they're overly sweet. This one is a total winner, and it has a really great body to the flavor too. I think it's extremely convenient as a syrup - something I've never tried before - and takes up way less space in the fridge than a concentrate would. Very enjoyable unique spice and taste (in a good way)! This was super refreshing to have and renews my faith in brand name chai drinks. This coffee shop that sells this must be insanely good. Definitely am a regular customer now.

I found this to be way too sweet. There was not enough spice for me at the suggested amount of syrup to milk ratio, and adding any more syrup to make it a bit stronger makes the sweetness too much for the drink to be enjoyable. It mixes easily and has a pleasant but subtle Chai aroma. If you like your Chai really sweet this might work but it's not something I would purchase again, too sweet and not nearly enough spice.

This chai tea concentrate from Maya has a good, strong chai flavor. It has no artificial sweeteners, flavors, or color. I used it in twelve ounces of unsweetened vanilla almond milk, and it made a very good iced chai. I like my chai not to be too sweet, so I used about a tablespoon and a half rather than the recommended amount of two tablespoons of concentrate, and the flavor still came through. It is as refreshing as a chai from a coffee shop, at a fraction of the price per cup. And since I’m using less, I’ll get more cups of chai from the six ounce bottle, making it a great value.

This is a tasty Chai concentrate - being the Devi, I thought it would be STRONG, but still not quite as strong and spicy as I would like with the recommended amount, but you can customize that to your own preference.However, this is a fairly small bottle - only 6 ounces, and you use about 1 oz per glass - so 6 servings - and if you are using more to get a spicier version, you will get less servings or smaller beverages..Cheaper than a retail shop, but you do have to make it yourself, and add the extra ingredients to get it to taste authentic, so really up to you if the home convenience is worth the cost or not.
