This book is not only informative, but a must have if you plan to follow a career in Marine Mammal Science. We ordered this book after seeing Kyle's informational video filmed at Moorpark College in CA. We were very intrigued by all of his interviews with the students and this book is exactly what he promised it would be! Great information, great photos, great quality and knowing the money for the book is doing some good is top notch! The only thing missing from the book is a piece on his fabulous dog Callie!!!!

I am so thankful for this book. It is SO well written and SO informative. For anyone interested in working with marine mammals it is absolutely worth the investment to have so much useful and field-specific knowledge at your fingertips. The reason I trust Kyle Is because he always PUTS THE ANIMALS FIRST. He is such an advocate for rescue, rehabilitation, and release of wild animals. Kyle explains his methods and techniques clearly, in detail and in a way that is also very fun to read. Beautifully printed in all color. I LOVE this book. If you have even the tiniest interest in the field, be sure to pick it up.

Get this book now. Seriously. If you’re even considering the field, you need this book. You will be so ahead of the game. I’m an ICU nurse who’s choosing to chase a dream and this book has literally been my holy grail! (Also get Don’t Shoot the Dog by Karen Pryor & How to win friends and influence people like Kyle suggest!) I just got my first internship and I don’t think I would have had any chance if it wasn’t for this book! From the bottom of my heart, thanks Kyle!

I loved this book!! I have always dreamt of getting to work with marine animals and after reading this book I finally feel equipped with useful knowledge that will help me make my dream a reality. There aren’t many books like this out there and I truly believe anyone aspiring to work with marine animals should make this one a part of their library. I’m so grateful that Kyle Kittleson took the time to put this book together. I’m sure his effort is helping many future marine animal trainers get the jump start they need for their careers!

I aspire to work with marine mammals, specifically at SeaWorld. After visiting SeaWorld Orlando many times, I thought I would have known by then what it takes to be a trainer by what educators and SeaWorld Camp told me. Wow, was I wrong. This book is so informational, and gave me so much insight about how to become a trainer! It is the PERFECT guide for anyone who wants to be in this career field. This is already my favorite book ever! Great job, Kyle. This was educational and inspiring. I hope you make more books, because I would definitely read them!

This was a hands down awesome book to read! This book gives aspiring marine mammal trainers a excellent foundation on how to get started and your foot in the door! This is a very detailed book from start to finish with great information. I would highly recommend anyone who is interested in a career of marine mammal training read this book it’s worth every penny and more, I seriously wish a book like this was put out into the world 10 years ago! Again can’t say it enough this book was amazing!
