It’s thick easy to get bubbles out and so far so good in this short time has held up to being the top of an eating table. I’m considering buying this in a large quantity for doing my cabinets. I used another brand of wallpaper that has not held up at all. U can see scratches and colors removes around handle areas. This seems like a good replacement when I’m willing to put the work in. I have to say it’s easy to lay on small areas but am worried about larger ones . It’s not like any paper I’ve used before, u don’t have to press and stretch it. It looks very nice and is a great value for the money compared to what I bought in the past. It does and can crease very easily. But if u lay it right that won’t happen

Ordered this to use to line shelves in a vintage painted steel cabinet. It works great, plenty sticky. Grateful it comes in this width, as ordinary shelf liner is not wide enough. I would never use it as wallpaper but for my purposes, it works perfectly. It will stretch a tiny bit, but you really don't want shelf liner to be stretchy or it will deform out of shape and you will end up with wrinkles and bubbles. I did not have that problem with this stuff. As with any project, no product will adhere properly if the proper preparation is not done.

Edit now that we’ve taken them down: they were awful to remove. Tore in tiny pieces and left a ton of residue. Not sure I could recommend if you were to use it on drywall, but if it’s on a smooth surface like this where you have plenty of time and the ability to aggressively clean it then it’s a great purchase. Love this! I bought these as a way to (long-term but not permanently) cover the mirror doors in our home office. I couldn’t find anything affordable in a nice design so I decided to paint them myself and I think it turned out nicely! Haven’t taken them off so I’m not sure if there will be any long-term damage from them, but overall I’m definitely pleased with this purchase thus far.

I bought this to cover a black writing desk. The desk is a cheap pressed wood desk that had tape on it so the color to it is peeled off on some spots. First the texture of this is awful. It's not smooth at all, and even if it did work well to cover the desk it would not be comfortable to actually use the desk afterwards. The texture is familiar but I can't place it. Second, this contact paper is not thick at all. So it's not covering the black color of this desk. I'd need to cover this twice to achieve the actual color I wanted. I was originally going to rate this three stars but then as I started typing this up I went to remove the contact paper from the desk (it's been on there for <20 minutes) and figured I could include that in the review since using it is easy. However, upon removal it removed even more of the original color from the desk. Truthfully I would not recommend this to anyone for any project. Maybe it would work better on the wall but with what just happened to this desk I would never recommend trying it out.

I bought this contact paper about 2 years ago to cover the laminate kitchen cabinets in my rental apartment since I wasn't allowed to paint. the process was a little tedious but that can mostly be attributed to the intricate design of the cabinets themselves. cabinets that are completely flat would be much easier to cover. I loved the way they turned out and if I was planning on keeping this on permanently, I'd probably rate it 5 starts. Unfortunately when I took it off at the end of my lease, every inch of cabinet that was covered in the contact paper was left with a thick layer of sticky adhesive. After spending hours trying soap/water, vegetable oil, and goo gone to remove the stickiness with minimal payoff, I found nail polish remover did a fairly good job dissolving the residue (though it still took a ton of elbow grease). I'm sure different materials might have less of an issue, but I had a different brand of contact paper on my lower cabinets and those removed with absolutely no residue so I don't think it was completely my cabinets' fault. I'd say if you are planning on eventually removing this and need it to be in the same condition that you started in, either do a text strip and leave it on for a few weeks to see if it leaves residue when you remove it...or just be prepared to scrub like crazy with nail polish remover if you go all in.

The Mecpar wallpaper is good quality and the deals they offer from time to time is outstanding.I have used two colors both were darker colors and it turned out really well.It is sturdy, thick, and easy to work with. The coverage is very good.Not sure how the lighter colors would do but the dark green and the blue gray are not see through at all and true to color shown on the site.It does not tear easily if you need to reposition.Its easy to smooth as you apply with no bubbling.I just bought more colors to have on hand due to excellent deal offers for later use. While it applies like contact paper it is much thicker and better quality that feels and looks like real wallpaper,Can't go wrong with this purchase especially when they have deal prices.I like that it comes in much longer rolls than most other brands too.

The fact that I’m writing my first review EVER says a lot about this wallpaper. I decided to do an accent wall in my living room and and it was the best decision I could have made. The paper went onto the wall flawlessly and I’ve gotten nothing but compliments since the install. The paper arrived within 1 day from ordering through Amazon Prime and all of the rolls were the same color matte green. Initially, I was nervous after reading all of the reviews suggesting the paper had a bad chemical smell, were different shades and wouldn’t apply smoothly but this was far from my experience. I peeled the adhesive backing down all of 2-3 inches and stuck only that much at the very top of my wall. I firmly rubbed it into the wall and dropped the rest of the roll to the floor. I used the grid on the back side of the wallpaper to cut the paper perfectly at the baseboard. There wasn’t much left on the roll after cutting, so I used the little that was left over to measure where to precut the next few rolls I would need. I Climbed back on the ladder and started to peel down more of the backing little by little, smoothing and firmly pressing into the wall until it was completely on the wall. I continued with this process until all 10 rolls plus the small pieces that were cut off from each roll were used. Don’t second guess this purchase, just buy it! It turned out perfect.

Contact sheet texture looks good Placed and smoothed on easily on my side kitchen corners .

I was expecting it to be matte but it's not. It's semi glossy.

The paper is thick but there were many stains and imprints when I opened it. It looks bad because of the damage to the paper.
