Excellent!
In our new home, we have some decorative custom windows that I didn't want to add window coverings to. However, I needed a film that wouldn't look like a film, would allow you to see outside, but not be able to see inside.I'm so thankful I found these! I had zero expectations. After daytime and nighttime testing, you can only slightly make out objects a very, very short distance (one foot or less) from the window and you must be directly up against the glass to do so.I opted to have this installed by my handyman. Be aware, he had a difficult time getting these to look up to his standards. He wanted all of the air bubbles gone and the trimmed edges to be clean and straight, but found it difficult to get it all just right. I encouraged him to let it go so he did. It's very minor and hardly noticeable but might bother some if this were being added to a window in a visible area.I'm very happy with this product and would buy it again.

If you have a keen eye for detail, don't go here.
This is definitely a FILM not so much a vinyl. I tried applying the product to several different surfaces several times. Each time I trapped dust, dirt, and detritus. I am a professional sign maker and lay vinyl daily. The wheels on my vinyl cutter actually marred and left permanent imprints on the product. The very thin masking on the product does not protect it from being marred or damaged during install. Each bit of dust or dirt is accentuated by the reflective quality of the product - making it a visual nightmare if you desire high quality. The adhesive is on the reflective side. All good knowledge I wish was in the description.

Daytime light and privacy... just what I was looking for.
I bought this to cover a large picture window in my front room. It takes two people to install but once it was done it was exactly what I was looking for. The curtains can stay open during the day and we get light and can see who is coming to the front door. But from the outside you can't see in.

This is an excellent product I bought it to cover my windows in the house cuz I live on the third floor and it gets extremely hot up here but this has cut down the heat and made it more bearable to live up here thank you very much

Exactly what I wanted!
I bought this product hoping it would keep my cats from terrifying the birds outside on the feeders. Before we bought this item our cats would constantly run up to the window scaring away every bird! Now that we have this film on the window, our cats can be as close to the window as possible and the birds never see them! I also believe that because the birds see only their reflections, it's more inviting to them because they think they "see other birds" nearby. This is exactly what I would hoping would happen as a result of putting the film on the window. It's great!
