Saved by Music
A wartime story that tells how two youngsters, initially hostile to each other, grew to care for each otheras WW2 arrived in Poland, where they - one a catholic and the other a Jewess - lived and studied music.Overtaken by events as the Nazis invaded the country, they made a personal pact that they would get toCarnegie Hall in the USA and perform there to celebrate their freedom in music. She is shipped off toa concentration camp while he witnesses her capture and vows what is the title of the film. The film issympathetically acted and impressively produced - recreating within its storyline, the fear and terrorsof the time when a country is under the heel of a tyrannical racist enemy.
