Great Disney park bag
Our family has several of these bags in different colors including the earlier version. We use them exclusively for taking essentials into Disney parks. They are a great size and hold up very well. Can be carried all day. It can be worn front or back and the movable strap lets you easily change from the left to the right side. Extremely versatile and functional.

Simply put - my life won't be the same without it.
I picked this up after a few hours researching EDC sling bags. I couldn't understand why this was such a highly rated bag but yet so cheap. I'm looking at all the known high end brands that sell for at least 4x and just scratching my head. Coincidentally, while debating on my purchase the Waterfly has a lightning deal. Well at that price, why not. If I don't like it Amazon will take it back or I can just gift it to someone. It didn't take long for me to see why it's so popular. It's light, even when fully loaded, but never feels strained or like it might break (YMMV). It's small, incredibly small, so you'll have to play with it for a bit and decide what exactly is essential and what you probably don't need. That's great though, as you start to add things you'll naturally organize them in the many pockets to make it a nice, compact fit. Do I really need a notebook or my tablet? Not today, but I can carry one if I need to. Can I pack my daily essentials and a light lunch? Yup, plenty of room to spare. Next thing you know everything has a place and you can pick up your Waterfly and run out the door without a hesitation or second thought. My daily carry basically consists of: server apron with server book, pens, and wine key. S&W .380 acp with laser in a Sticky holster and two mags. A good size bag of trail mix and another bag of candy (love my Skittles and Sour Patch Kids) one pound each, no problem. A personal vaporizer and everything I need for that in an airtight tube. A good backup knife in case I lose or I am disarmed of the one on my hip. Travel eating utensils in an adequate sized all purpose drawstring sack. If I plan on picking up more stuff when I'm out I throw in my Eddie Bauer packable Stowaway 20L bag. That's just the main compartment and I still have room to spare on there. Heck, I'll add a couple clementines and an apple. My OnePlus 6T fits perfectly in the mobile phone pocket but can be a little difficult to get to while walking or if the bag is not fitted snug enough. Easy fix. Secondary compartment and it's pockets? 3 packs of vacuum sealed tuna, AA big book, religious texts, address book, passport, coupons. Slim brand wallet (HIGHLY recommended), first aid kit, kleenex. EDC pen and highlighter, emergency cash, spare key, ear plugs, floss picks, wisps, chap stick, nicotine gum, dip and or snus, a Mophie power bank, cheap USB stick, Nat Sherman's and a bic. If I still have some specific for today random odds and ends I can fit those if they're not too big. All I need now is to stash my 1L water bottle...hmmm. Wait a second... This is the only place I can honestly say the Waterfly fails and fails hard. The side pocket for "water bottle" can fit just that - and barely. No room for anything more than a cheap plastic 16.9 bottled water. No ice cold water, no reducing your impact on the environment by reusing, just a sad little bought in bulk water, the kind you get for free in the waiting room or at a church picnic. It's a shame, but in the long run it's a sacrifice worth making, especially given that this little pack has already given you so much back in storage and organization. I do car keys with a weather proof, shock proof Samsung USB stick (again, highly recommend) and a lens cloth on the side, you could maybe do something like a phone charger if for some crazy reason you don't want to put it inside the pack. With just a little bit of space in a mesh outside pocket that isn't secure other than a strip of elastic probably best to play it safe and keep it light and loose, no valuables. If I'm sitting and don't want my keys in my back pocket or on my hip, they go in there. Otherwise, maybe like a small can of cold brew or just nothing. I was a big skeptic at first but now this bag is my companion almost everywhere I go. Obviously not for more strenuous outdoor activities like climbing, but perfect for city commuting. I haven't tested it in a thunderstorm or anything, but light rain in short distances like the parking lot to the office have never been an issue. The material isn't going to stop bullets, but if you're careful and don't try to overpack it or carry bulky odd shipped items. Watch out for sharp corners. At the end of the day, I can't recommend this product enough. Great for the kids to tote their stuff, could be a purse for the edgy teenager or hipster, more uses for any activities than I'll be ever to think of from walking the dogs to riding your bike to planning a long day away from home like sightseeing or a trip to the theme park. Whatever flips your switch, this little bag adds a lot of convenience to enjoying whatever you want to do. Final comment? See title.

Great, just flaky zipper
I used this bag for a trip to Disney - great size, very convenient, also lightweight. We could fit two full size water bottles, 3 ponchos, medication, wallet, tissues, & phone. The phone pocket is a genius idea & worked well even with my protective case. Being able to slide the bag around to get at the pockets was helpful! The only negative is the the zipper for the largest pocket was flaky. We had repeated trouble getting it re-zipped, which was a bit of a pain going through security at the parks. However, it was well worth the zipper hassle. Great little bag!

Holds cell phone right where you want it! PERFECT BAG, LOVE IT!!
I looked for WEEKS trying to find the perfect sling bag for my trip to Disney World. I ended up going with this one based on the fact that it would hold my Samsung Galaxy S5 phone (in thick case) in the front zippered pocket. Many reviews of other bags (that have a similar front pocket) said they would hold a "small phone" and most all were based on the infamous "iPhone" which not everyone has!! Go Samsung!! Come to find out, it exceeded my expectations when I found out it would hold my phone attached to a 3"x5" power bank and still zip up halfway to keep them securely in the pocket!! This bag is adjustable for right or left shoulder and holds a TON, including two 8" Samsung tablets NO PROBLEM! At any given time during our week long trip I had the following items in this bag: 2 tablets, phone in front pocket, chapstick, travel size hair spray, comb, travel pkg of Kleenex, sunglasses, bib, Aunt Flo items, wallet (4"x4"x1/2" in size), small bags of snacks/fruit snacks, power bank and cord (3"x5" in size), 16.9oz size water bottle in side pocket. The bag is VERY comfortable to wear with the light padding in the nice, adjustable strap. It has a quick release clip so you can whip it off fast when you need to. As far as water resistance, it got sprayed on a few water rides and everything inside stayed nice and dry. It's a sturdy nylon material and zippers are smooth and zip easily. I HIGHLY recommend this bag and am buying a 2nd one for my husband.

GREAT little bag!
Decided to try this out during our trip to Disney World this year, instead of a backpack or a purse that keeps sliding off my shoulder. That was a great decision. It held up beautifully during our 2 week vacation. It holds a surprisingly large amount of stuff for such a little thing, and most of the time it was half empty. The two sections are great for keeping common items (lip balm, sunscreen, etc.) in the front and securing more important stuff (wallet, kindle) in the back. The cell phone pocket on the strap is perfectly situated and easily accessible. Normally these cell phone cases are designed for little flip phones circa 2005, or a phone without a case. This one fit my Samsung S7 WITH a big ol' case on it, no problem. Everything is secure and well designed. Nothing frayed at all; zippers were totally robust too. Oh, and the strap / back of bag - padded nicely. I can't say anything bad about this bag. I thought I'd just store this back until my next vacation - but NO! I'm using it for a LOT of stuff. I use it when I go on day-trips, hiking, and now that I have a knee injury, it allows me to take everything with me - hands free. What a great investment.

Inefficient (not easy/quick to use)
This is an ok day bag. I personally bought it for walking/hiking with my dog. I wanted something to carry all the things my 'lady non-existant-or-not-real-pocket-pants' can't handle. It is roomy enough. I can keep his treats, his poop bags, his toys (frisbee, ball), my phone, my chapstick, my pepper spray, my sunscreen, and kleenex inside. But it's so difficult to 1) easily and quickly get stuff out of and 2) carry/wear comfortably. When the strap is tightened, it feels uncomfortable and the front phone pocket is on top of my shoulder (not easily accessible.) When the strap is loosened, the weight (not much weight, really) pulls the bag Down my back. And then the same as above happens - the front pocket is on top of my shoulder and not easily accessible. When I bend over to pick up dog poo, Any non-completely-zipped compartments become free-game for gravity. Compartments, both the smaller front/strap compartment and the two rear compartnements, are not easily unzipped/rezipped one-handed. I have to use two hands every time. The mesh side bag, typically for water bottles, fits ~16-17oz commercial water bottles fine, but my doggie water bottle and 20oz hydroflask are difficult to slide in and out, require force and two hands. Would prefer something I can easily reach into and grab what I need one-handed... something I can open and close one-handed... as well as something that can carry the basic necessities and also give some protection from the elements (water-resistant.) Past the return period, so we will keep it until we find something better for our needs.

Great Sling Bag for Hiking/Geocaching!
Update: I continue to be very happy with this sling bag. Fits my small camera, geocaching kit, medium sized sudoku book, sunglasses, sunscreen etal. My hoodie is too big to fit inside but I could pass the hood through the top grab handle, put the rest of the hoodie into the hood and tie everything in place with the hood strings. Two suggested enhancements. The first is small but very helpful. I wish there were TWO zippers on the phone pocket. With a single zipper, I carry the bag over my left shoulder/right hip so even if I don't completely close the zipper, nothing will fall out. If I switch sides, I need to ensure that the zipper is completely closed to prevent smaller items from falling out of that pocket ( I had stashed a small charging cable there, which fell out). The second is a big one but would fill a void in the marketplace. The bag is actually two layers - an outside ripstop nylon and a smooth nylon inside. PacSafe and Travelon make the best security bags by putting stainless steel wire mesh in the bottom half of the bag to prevent slash and grab thefts. However, they don't make a theft resistant sling bag with an external water bottle pocket and front phone pocket.. I would want the bag in various sizes, so I could add a sandwich or snacks to my normal gear. I have been looking for a sling bag like this for quite some time for outdoor hiking/geocaching in warm weather. I wanted an external water bottle pocket that would hold a 3” diameter stainless steel water bottle. Most slings don’t have an external sleeve (I don’t like putting water inside which might get stuff wet) or are only large enough to hold one time use disposable plastic water bottles (bad for the environment). I also wanted a small pocket on the strap that would hold my iPhone so I can get at it quickly. My iPhone 8 easily fits and probably could an 8 Plus should also fit since the pocket is very tall. Just finding these two critical features was tough. Pack material seems to be light and strong — it almost looks like rip stop nylon from the outside. Breathable strap a plus in hot weather. Pack material is waterproof but zippers are not. There are four small lashing loops on the side of the pack with the water bottle sleeve. With a 3” diameter water bottle, the sleeve is snug so I doubt the water bottle could fall out. But you could use a carabiner to secure the water bottle to one of the lashing straps. If you’re not carrying a water bottle, you could add some cordage and lash a fleece to the side of the pack. Lashing loops were an unexpected plus. Nice assortment of small pockets in the smaller front section that a common in sling bags. Main section will hold a fair amount of stuff. I can carry a rain jacket, small camera, extra food for the trail.

We LOVED them! All of us carried one each day
I bought one of each of the four colors of these backpacks before my family's trip to Disneyland. We LOVED them! All of us carried one each day. I wish they came in more colors, but thankfully there were just four of us. I thought my shoulder would get tired, or my back might ache from having the pack on one side of me for several very long days, but neither was the case. It was such a comfortable backpack, my nine-year-old daughter carried hers without asking for help one time. When going on rides, we'd simply turn the pack to where it was in front instead of in the rear. Like all other reviews said, the cell phone pocket was perfect for a cell phone. We used them to hold our cell phones, tickets, fast passes, AND walkie talkies so that if we split up and needed to reach each other, the walkie talkie noise or cell phone ring was near our ears (a lot easier to hear than if it was inside your pants pocket or the bag itself). The bag is light weight, which I loved. The strap is comfortable. I hooked a hand sanitizer to the loop at the top to have easy access to that. It held my Disney book, snacks, my extra cell phone battery, a portable blanket, park maps, a small wallet, and a water bottle. This is the perfect Disney bag!
