JUNKERS Ju 88: The Early Years - Blitzkrieg to the Blitz (Air War Archive)

I was expecting a complete profile on the Junkers Ju-88 aircraft including interior pictures etc. Instead this is mostly various episodes in the early war profiling individuals and their experiences with the Ju-88 aircraft. While well researched, there was little to address the various models of the bomber and even less to show pictures of the different aircraft. If you want a short history, this may be a book to look at, if you want a reference manual on the aircraft, don't buy this book.

On time delivery and in wonderful condition!

The photographs are very extensive and cover the JU88s early development and use. However, the book would have benefited by the addition of more detail concerning the organisations operating the aircraft especially those that feature in the photographs. Overall a very book for my library on this topic.

In formato kindle si possono apprezzare meglio le foto, zoomandole su un tablet grande. Certo, molte sono di scarsa qualità fatte da dilettanti sul campo di battaglia e con macchine amatoriali. Ma tant'è. In offerta a meno di 4 euro. What else ?
