The lights are beautiful, they are bright and vibrant. Each set of 3 led can be a different color. I thought it would be each individual one. The adhesive to attach the strip is useless. I originally put these on the back of my desk but they kept coming unstuck. I had to move them to a wall and use tacks to support it. They include 5 clip/tack things, they suck. I found it was easier to use a regular thumb tack. The power cord is incredibly short if you plan on putting these anywhere thats not right next to an outlet you'll need an extension cord. The custom light shows are a cool idea, tho dont seem to be very user friendly. I also havnt figured out how to do custom show with strip and bulbs together.

Looks and works great. Individual lights can change color wich means you can do so much more with this. Just wish it would connect to smartthings.

First off the "double sided tape" on the light strip is a joke. It's very thin and sticks about as well as plain plastic - that's IF you don't end up pulling it up while you're trying to remove the backing that has a weakness prone to breaking every couple of inches and a clean break every six inches for some idiotic reason. If you're going to buy these, get real double sided tape.The AC adapter's wire is shorter than I'd like.The lights are MUCH slower to respond than the originals. So much so that I sometimes thought they didn't get the signal.Finally, the lights are a bit dimmer than the originals at full intensity.Overall, these are a grossly inferior product compared to the original. Sad to see with the increasing competition.

Unless you have a ledge that you are sticking these lights on top of these lights are not the ones you want!!!The adhesive is incredibly weak, I set it up the night I got them and by the next morning they have all fallen onto the ground. Using command strips I've managed to keep them in place and am keeping them since the lights look nice and the app has decent functionality and is relatively intuitive.I would stay away from this product, given that it's on the more expensive side I expected higher quality, but this is not better than the cheaper lights you can find on Amazon or elsewhere. Stay away.

Does not stick to anything and the fact that it requires wifi is very inconvenient

Supplied mounting tape is pretty much useless, like others here have said. Order the 3M heavy duty double sided molding tape in the 1/4x15ft or longer to get your install job done in one day.

These are excellent light panels that are easier than expected to set up and have a lot of versatility in the amount of ways the lights can be configured. Altogether, this kit comes with 10 hexagon lights, link cables, nails, adhesive tape, a leveler, design templates, the manual, and the power adapter. The lights took us around 45 minutes to set up.First, the kit has you use these wall templates to map out your design ahead of time, and then you remove one at a time from the wall as you install and attach each hexagon light. You’ll also want to start with your primary hexagon first as this one will be the one that you attach power to and the link to each of the other lights. On the back of each hexagon you will see a bunch of connection spots with one having an arrow and the rest being numbered. The arrow port is where you must connect the initial power as well as power to the other hexagons. The numbered ports are for you to connect the link cables from the closest numbered port to the power (arrow) port on the next hexagon. It seemed confusing at first, but it is actually really simple. For our design, we made a simple cloud which used only 9 out of the 10 available hexagons.Once all the hexagons are attached to your wall, just plug it in, pair it with the app and let your creativity go wild. If you don’t want to use the app, there are also a number of static color and light effect mode configurations that you can adjust with the inline control box. Also, these lights get VERY bright to the point that if I had mounted them to the ceiling, it would be enough light for my entire room.The app itself took me a while to find the options to adjust the colors but once I did I was very happy with the versatility. For static colors, you can choose any color from a large color wheel, choose from a number of many color temperatures (if using it as a room light or a full light), in addition to few preset light effect modes such as volcanic, aurora, party and more that you can also choose. And if none of that is enough for you, you can make your own “light show” with your choice of palette colors, effects, transition speeds, and even dividing up the colors and effects by segment zones of each individual hexagon light.I did a few tests to see the limits of the app and there really isn’t any. I was able to create a light show that perfectly matches the theme colors of my online streams and it works perfectly as a background aesthetic. The lights are vibrant, rich and very durable.Overall, I am very impressed with these lights and regardless of what design you make, I don’t think anyone would be disappointed with these. I absolutely love them and I highly recommend it.
