More then youd ever need
Litterally so convenient! Every spell. Not only is it great to teach new players how spells funtion but also showing that yeah if you cast fireball in this room..everyone is dying. Im quite happy with this. Also nice little carrying case for them so thats great.

Great reference points.
My players are all some form of caster and this aids in showcasing the AOEs they cast.Extremely helpful when we have more than 1 concentrantion spell active.

I bought mine and it sucks
Unlike the 5 star reviews I actually PAID for mine and i'm ticked. This was WAY too expensive for the flimsy piece of garbage that I received. Completely disappointed at the complete lack of quality. All the pieces have burrs on the edges and the storage is a junky plastic envelope. It completely lacks value I could have easily made my own with an exacto knife for MUCH LESS then I spent. DONT WASTE YOHR HARD EARNED MONEY ON ANYTHING FROM THIS SELLER

Good selection, sturdy, marked for size
This set comes as indicated with several sets of squares and circles from small to large, covering I think almost all spell effect sizes that are standard. Most are solid so you'll be hovering over the mini on the board with it, or placing it underneath the minis. Some of the larger sizes are cut out in the center making it a bit easier to set it down on your map over miniatures. Each template is marked with the length or radius in 'feet' as applied to a 1 inch=5feet system that 5e (and others?) use. They each have a representative spell named on them too. I'm not the most well played gamer out there but I've been in the D&D culture lightly or heavily since AD&D (as it was transitioning from the original covers to the orange spines, late 80's). In that time I've not heard of most of the spells listed here but I see they are indeed in the book, so....Regardless, the measurement is there so the name of the chosen spell doesn't matter too much. This brand is currently a good 15 bucks or so cheaper than the name brand. The pros here are better price, more templates (more duplicate sizes) and thicker material. The pros of the other are that several spell names are printed on each template, and brief rule callouts relating to each are also there.I have that other...Arc... set and it's great too! They both come in a large plastic storage envelope. they trade points between them for top spot. They are both 5 star in my book, but for different reasons. Player's choice! Best luck.~Cheers!

3.8 stars, images are decent, edges are OK, thick enough, questionable deal
To start with, I’m not sure what some of the other reviewers received, but these are not super thin and flimsy at all. I wouldn't call them super robust, but they seem fine. My main concerns are in regard to why they chose for some spells to be in physical ring and others to be solid discs when in both cases the spell is a sphere and not like a wall around whatever you’ve cast it on. The same goes for the squares. Some rings and some solid. Weird in my opinion. Then there’s nit picky things like some spells graphics don't really represent the full scale of the template so you have clear plastic that is actually the effect area without color/graphics filling it. These are just minor things that could be confusing to some that don’t know the spells well etc. And I found it really odd that Fireball has a weird offset graphic when fireball is just one huge sphere of fire.Overall they’re OK, but the price is a bit high for what they are.

Excellent Visual Aid For Serious Gamers
This is a great way to keep track of spell ranges in tabletop role-playing games. Sure, you could count the squares or use a ruler, but this is a much cooler alternative. Having all these templates right in front of you makes it so much easier to figure out which enemies you can hit, or how far a zone extends. The colorful designs are a great visual aid for giving the game some depth. I highly recommend getting some of these for your gaming group.

Finally, I can see spells!
Nice pieces of plastic make up all the different spells/effects. They are thick enough to feel good, translucent where they have to be and clear what they are.I'm still new to the game, which kinda sticks it since I like these, and I've heard veterans don't necessarily like a bunch of "toys" to play the game.Personally I really like the idea. Goes right up there with status rings for your model.Overall, I'd recommend picking them up. Kinda adds to the overall experience.

try another
Cheap plastic on a rush cuts, some pieces arrive broken and missing parts, also the paper is cheap and the envelope is cheap and arrive totally damaged.

WOW!
Pour les sessions de D&D en présentiel c'est un incontournable a avoir. Les range de sorts sont nombreux et très utile, les motif et les couleurs sont très bien détaillé et les matériaux sont souple et durable..je ne m'en passerais plus jamais!

Extremely useful
I run 3x DnD games per week. My players use a wide variety of spells and because of different play styles and experience, the players (and myself) sometimes get mixed up with areas of effect. This set removes all room for error with precise measurements, and avoids a lot of “but this should be in the area” type arguments. It has definitely saved a lot of hassle, and I would 100% recommend it.
