Great product. Easy to install. Comes with several different size screws to attach to the TV where the mounting bracket would go. The other end is self sticking adhesive. I have a glass top TV stand and could not pull that end off once I stuck it down Bought them so the grandchildren can't pull the TV over on themselves.

This is the best system I have found for earthquake safety with a large television, when modified. The straps on this are very sturdy (unlike many I have tried) and are long enough to allow for the television to stand out on the furniture rather than right up against the wall. I installed them to the studs in the wall behind the cabinet (for extra protection) behind the television (in the bottom fourth of the screen area if you could see through the TV) and used simple three inch metal straps, one per quakehold strap, laid across the quakehold strap when just shy of taught from the TV to the wall, so it has a tiny bit of give, and then used one and one half or two inch size ten wood screws, one through a metal strap hole into one side of the stud and one into another metal strap hole through a hole in the quakehold strap and into the stud through the wall. Before attaching the television (which I moved aside) I pulled, hard, on each strap and they were very, very strongly attached to the wall. Behind the television, in case earthquake somehow knocked it backward, I positioned two soft, cardboard boxes strategically, far enough away to hold it up without compromising sound. Unlike earthquake kits that force you to keep the television perfectly vertical and prevent any movement at all, this system allows the television to move in minor earthquakes without causing stress or damage to the metal housing (as you would see with a system that prevents any movement at all by putting stress on the metal housing where it is attached). This is safe, secure, stretchy enough to not damage the television in a minor earthquake and sturdy enough to pull it back and keep it from falling on a child or animal during a quake (but any time you screw into the back, if there is a quake strong enough to knock it off, it will damage the metal housing of your TV which doesn't matter if it saves your family). In other words, installed using metal straps to the wall, these straps are the best on the market. However, if installed as directed, like many other systems, you have no guarantees. I used this on a 65" tv and it had plenty of space left for a 70" tv. Not sure what those other people who say it doesn't fit did wrong but it works just fine. Easy installation as well. The one downside is it doesn't come with enough screws for the strap fasteners thay are glued down, I ended up using 8 extra screws, but then again I'm extra careful with things. Great product!!!

I bought this kit for a new 42-inch HDTV that was a lot lighter than the 40-inch model that I used before. The TV was so light that it wobbled easily. I live in earthquake country, and I also worried that a visitor (especially a child) might accidentally tip it over. Installing these straps requires you to read the instructions and measure accurately. It's not hard, but takes some care. The result is good: my TV is much more stable in the forward direction. I don't worry about it falling over.

Strong hold and kept in place on an hour road trip in our camper.
