Complicated but fun
I purchased this because it looked really neat, I thought my 4 year old might want to help me build it, but it is not suited for kids that young. It was quite fun for me as an adult but there were some bits that were a little hard to follow - you really have to pay attention to the pictures. I was confused about why so many bags were labeled 1, 2, and 3 - it worked best to just open all of the 1 bags at the same time, and then when you get to 2, open all of the 2 bags, etc. There are some extra pieces which can be a bit confusing but I’m glad it had extra pieces instead of missing some.It was really fun to watch it come together - it actually functions when you turn the handle, the gears all fit together and the planets rotate around the sun. It comes with a light to put in the sun but I think my light was faulty, it will turn on but not stay on - but regardless, it’s so neat even without the light. Very cool little project, it took me around 4 hours over a couple of days. It was definitely worth the purchase price, I would buy it again - I will probably let my 4 year old play with it and take it all apart so I can build it again in the future.

Most difficult Lego-like set I've ever done
To start, this isn't Lego brand but it is highly comparable. The overall end result is perfect for my shelf, and this made a good STEM lesson for my homeschoolers. However, my kids (11 and 9) would not have been able to assemble this on their own. I have been doing Lego for decades and the directions took quite a bit of reading and re-reading to understand and assemble. The inner structure of the base could use more support as it collapsed several times during assembly. Another issue we had was having pieces fall inside the base structure while assembling. That required disassembly and starting over several times. Had my kids been doing this on their own they likely would have gotten frustrated and given up.The end result is lovely; however, there is no way to turn off the light feature without disassembling the sun structure. I received tons of compliments and requests for the link for the set when I posted the finished product to my social media. When sharing the link for it I have warned others about the difficulty in assembly. In terms of recommendations 5/10 recommend this for kids 12 and up, 7/10 recommend this for adults.

Very fun to build and play with family 💗
Very fun build with kids! I love builds with gears and turning pieces, as does my son. The instructions were easy to follow as well! (It felt rewarding as I built it with my 6 year old.The only minor downsides is needing more spare pieces and the number bags to be separated by which steps you're on. For the first 20 pages or so, I had to open all the #1 bags and it was chaos with 2 little ones, hehe! Definitely planning to more order from this brand. C: I don't have any end result as my son was too excited to connect pieces of it to his Lego motor.

A must have for Lego builders!!!
If your son or daughter likes Lego builds, this is a must have. The solar system pushes them to the limits of their assembling abilities and is well appreciated once complete. I love the builds that have moving parts. This solar system will not disappoint! Your children will love it!!!

Good instructions
So what times you never know what you're going to get when you order an off-brand building block item and I will say this actually was not that difficult to build the instructions made me want to not start for my daughter but in the end it actually did not take as long as I expected the instructions were easy to follow and it was a fun build for me and my 9-year-old. She would not have been able to do it on her own as a lot of it was very meticulous but it was a good value for the money and she loves it it's cute it is not to scale obviously. I will say though you can't turn the sun off it on it's either on on or off and you can't really take this on apart to adjust easily so that is my only complaint.

Fun build, broken parts out of the box.
My 14 year old nephew has a great time putting this model together. The parts look to be compatible with Lego and seem generally of good quality. We did have one very important gear that came damaged (shown in the pictures). This prevented my nephew from completing the build, so I can't give an overall impression of the finished model.I bought this as a gift and it didn't get opened until after the Amazon return window. I'm hoping that the seller will see this and reach out to help me get a replacement for the damaged part.

Difficult to put together and missing a planet
It was very difficult to put together. I bought it for my kids but they couldn’t do it. Also, there are only 7 planets. It’s missing Jupiter! Very disappointed with that.

Fun great build
The media could not be loaded. This has been one of the best builds, that's coming from the 9 year old. We are still working on it as you can see the sun is not complete yet. The gears all work well and it's smooth to operate. Everything is there no missing parts and very little extra pieces. Great quality control!
