I got this as I recently moved into an apartment where the bathroom didnt have the best air flow and it just felt slightly damp all the time. I liked the look of this one and decided to give it a go. It's been fantastic! I have to empty it every few days as it draws in that much moisture! Goes maybe 2-3 days before I decide to emtpy it before it gets too full. I did not realize how bad it was, very glad I grabbed this one. I love the colors and theyre not super bright, so not disturbing at night.

The floor gets very slippery with the humidity in my home and at times it gets crazy to the point where the machine does its very best to clear all the water on the floor. However when it is way too humid I guess like everything else the machine has its limit. I don't really have any complaints because it keeps things dry for the most part. The room gets very humid and smells moldy and I am not sure about 800+ sq ft coverage but for a room that fits 2 queen size beds and part of the hallway, it does a very good job! I would give it a 4.5 stars but I will give it 5 because it works very well about 97%. Hope this helps

This dehumidifier does its job well and very quietly. It's not super powerful but it does collect the moisture from the air slowly but steadily. Great for a closet and tiny room. You might want a more powerful one for larger rooms. Tank size is plenty big. The design is a bit boxy for my tastes but at least it's a small profile. Tank design is also not ergonomic. But overall, I'm satisfied! Better than my previous one.

We are renovating a house currently and found that it has some serious damp issues in all the closets and the small upstairs bathroom. We do have a large whole house dehumidifier on the main floor which helps a lot, but it doesn't quite get the bathroom or the closet areas.I researched dehumidifiers and settled on this unit for the bathroom and desiccant dehumidifiers for all the small closet spaces. I mainly chose this unit due to the great reviews and because it is aesthetically pleasing compared to other similar units.After placing it in the bathroom to see how well it worked, I was pleasantly surprised at its output. We are having to change it every 2 days -- which is about 40 oz of water pulled from the air. This is from a small 5x7 bathroom space that is used every day. I didn't expect such a small unit to be as efficient as the large models, so this was a decent amount of dehumidification given its size (in my opinion). It has seriously helped with the damp smell in the bathroom which was the biggest concern, so I'm pleased with that.I like the options of changing the LED light colors or even switching them to dark (which sometimes I do if the light from under the door keeps me up at night). I love the look of the colorful LED light cycling during the waking hours so I leave it on most of the time.The unit itself is a nice size and we actually just put built-in shelves that can accommodate it when we have guests and want it off the floor. It might be okay staying on the shelf full-time, however, I worry that it would lose efficiency due to the lack of air circulation (only a few inches behind it and a few inches above). It is so attractive that I don't mind it being out most of the time anyway.There is a slight bit of heat output from the unit, but nothing significant and the plug is a nice power supply plug that doesn't get overly hot.Lastly, the water bin is a breeze to empty and clean unlike other units I've had in the past. The lid comes completely off and you can clean it out easily in the sink.Overall, I highly recommend this dehumidifier for SMALL spaces or as an auxiliary dehumidifier. Do your research on how much you need to actually dehumidify and plan your devices accordingly. For us, a large whole house dehumidifier on the main floor with a few small units was perfect for our 2 story, 1,800 sq ft home. I wouldn't plan to use this unit in anything larger than an enclosed 5x7 space and expect results.

Bought to put in the extra (unused) bedroom at my in-law’s house which (since it’s not used on a regular basis) is very damp and musty in the summer. Bought this thinking it would help. We were totally wrong. Had plugged in over 6 hours and only collected a couple teaspoons of water and the electrical adapter was very hot. Tried again the next day and same results. Total waste of money. Sending it back.

Pulls the moisture from my basement that I didn't even expect would be there. The fact that you can add the essential oils is great also because this keeps my basement smelling great and I can choose the scent and use a natural remedy. So great!!!

I really liked this dehumidifier, but it stopped working just short of 2 years from purchase
