Sturdy, well made
This docker is a large size, big enough to cover a good span of dough in no time. When I have my sourdough starter going, I often like to make sourdough crackers from the discard (theyre delicious; popovers, too!), and of course in order for the crackers to turn out right they have to be pierced to prevent puffing and giant bubbles forming. Using a fork is a laborious process when you're trying to make a big batch of crackers, let me tell you.This docker gets it done in record time. It goes through dough well, but it's not quite sharp enough to cause an accident if you're a little careless. This is a great tool to make pizza with a New York style thin crust, the way it ought to be. You don't often see dough dockers so I was surprised when I came across this one and jumped at the chance to get it.Very sturdy, a comfortable, smooth handle, and the roller seems to be lined with a silicone-type material so that it's easy to clean any dough stuck at the base of the tines. The tines themselves are long enough to go through any depth of dough you could possibly be working with that needs a docker.Terrific addition to any baker's kitchen.

Great Value
Mama Mia...this thing works a treat and does what it is supposed to do. Cleans up pretty well also. I can't wait to try it on crackers and some flat breads, but it really made a nice par baked pizza that came out almost perfect. If you are serious about making real bakery goods, having this tool is the only way to go.
