I got these shock brackets to use for adding shocks to my trailer. It was very bouncy because it's a heavy duty trailer and when it's not loaded it was just all over the place. So I thought if I got some shock brackets I could mount some little shocks like off of a golf cart or something and that would help cushion the bounce. And I was right. I needed more than a golf cart shock though something a little more heavy duty so that it actually had compressive strength under no load. These worked fantastic for being able to put the shock mount wherever I needed it to be to work for my specific application highly recommend these for anybody who's doing a custom shock mount

I used these on a 150cc go-kart, which I'm sure was not its intended application. Nonetheless, it worked out great. I had to cut it in half and re-weld it to make it narrower to fit my smaller four wheeler shocks. Then weld to the frame. The steel on these brackets is thick, and they are quite heavy duty. No doubt they would work better on a pickup truck. No complaints overall. These worked well, and saved me a bunch of time versus fabricating my own.
