The $10 Adapter You Didn't Know Existed, But Saved You From Buying A $50 Legacy Charger & Battery!
I was finishing a small laminate flooring project when the cheap trim saw I was using died. I have an older Dewalt saw (DW 936) that needed a battery (& charger). However, this model uses the older post style battery. Which I no longer have. Even cheap replacement batteries & charging units would have cost $40+. I found this adapter that will allow you to convert a modern lithium ion battery down to the older legacy NiCad battery. Snaps right on & worked flawlessly with a 20V Dewalt compatible battery. Not even a Dewalt branded battery was needed. An awesome fix for $10 & next day delivery!

Easily convert DeWalt 18V to 20V
I have a older 18V NICA dewalt circular saw. But I have alot of 20 V batteries. S I figured why by 18 V battery for this 1 tool. I bought this adapter and it works great. Pop it in my 18 v tool. ad my 20v battery and I'm back to cutting. And it seems to be more powerful. Defiantly longer run time.

I've used it a few times and it works as stated. Only time will tell if it holds up. I would buy from them again.

Plug in and works, old tools run like new ... even better!
When paired with a 6ah 20 volt lithium battery it replaces the old NiCad battery packs and makes the old DeWalt tools run like new, even better than new and it has a USB charging port in it too. Sawsall and grinder run great, tight fit no wobbles.
