Star Wars Tie Advanced x1 and Tie Fighter set, Bandai Star Wars 1/144

An amazing little model kit. Nice and simple to follow instructions, detailed and no glue required. Exactly what you would expect from a Bandai kit with no painting required if that is what you want.

And exquisite set of "palm" kits from Bandai, very well made and manufactured. Sadly these come with stickers not decals.

These are lovely little kits but really need paint to do them any justice. My advice would be to throw the stickers away and paint the details, they will look better for it. The solar collectors/wings need painting anyway so you may as well do the whole thing. The only other gripe I'd have is you need to buy two of these kits to recreate the Advanced X-1 with two Tie fighter wingmen as seen during the Trench Run in the original Star Wars movies. Bonus to doing that is you end up with an extra X-1. As expected they have the usual Bandai perfect detail even though the kits are so small.

Excellent, despite the poor translation, this is made by Bandai, just beautiful as a kit.

Not worth the money. Very cheap and small. Dont bother.

These assemble into very nice little models. The build is simple on both and the parts for without much in the way of gaps. Often snugly enough that cement isn't even needed. One star off because of the stand. It's not as depicted and is very clearly designed to have a 2nd TIE fighter added to complete the flight. Why the set didn't include it I can't fathom and the kit on its own is ridiculously expensive. Much more than -believe it or not- buying another of this set, and hard to find into the bargain.

They are very small and all white plastic not like the photo with black wings. i put them in the bin.
