Works like a charm in my Payne outdoors AC
My Payne outdoor AC Model PA10JA060 fan stopped functioning. Replaced the current capacitor with this one of the same specs and the unit came back to life. This is a no brainer to have as a spare considering it is 50% less than the cost of just the initial visit from the AC man, not to mention the $150+ they would most likely charge for a replacement. This took 20 minutes to replace. A clear win for the DIY here!

Fixed My A/C Problem
Item arrived quickly, easy to install, and got the A/C working again. You wouldn't think anyone would need air conditioning in Mid-December, but this is Southeast Texas so we never know if a cold front will make it this far down south. Yes, 84 degrees can happen here in December!

Initial impression is good. Seems to be working well. It's bigger in diameter than the original part but most of the numbers match the original part.

You need a spare capacitor
I have four a/c units that use these capacitors. They go out after a few years. I always keep extra capacitors, since they usually go bad on weekends or in heat waves. Do yourself a favor and keep them for when you need your air conditioning.

Fixed my HVAC
I live in the Arizona desert where temperatures in the summer easily go over 100 degrees most everyday. My HVAC stopped working and was overheating and the fan stopped turning. I called the AC repair shop and they were booked for the next week (my house was 98 degrees inside). I ordered this Capacitor and it was easy to install and now my AC works great. Cancelled my appointment with the repair shop.

17 yr old condenser
Our 17 yr old scroll compressor was making some odd noise. I made a video for a friend who is a HVAC technician for over 10 years. He admitted it was a weird sound. I swapped out the cap with this model. Now, when it starts up it clatters for about 30 seconds and smooths our to a hum after that.
