I have use the Brightwell product line in my aquariums for 3 years with no ill effects whatsoever. The bacteria is added at every water change.

Every Brightwell product is excellent and made with high standards. Amazon’s shipping department…that’s another story. The first bottle that I received was thrown loosely in the shipping box. Well needless To say that the pump came open during shipping and half of the product was lost. I started a return and got another one sent out to me. Second one came in, in the exact same condition. I’ve returned them both and the folks at Brightwell took care of me personally. Look for a dealer that packs their products properly, or just order from Brightwell directly.

With this product and the shrimp core and shrimp prep products, my shrimp are healthy and breeding! This took my tank from barely holding on to flourishing.

My guess the product we’re getting is old and evaporated. Did use what I had left which wasn’t much and still worked just disappointed
