I was nervous at first receiving this whale because of the bad reviews on the eye coming off easily but I was so excited to see that mine came with an eye stitching instead! So maybe the seller has taken feedback? Again excited I did not have to worry about that. The whale itself comes vacuum sealed so it will take a few days to become unwrinkled (picture is a few hours after opening) it’s durable, so soft, and adorable! It was gifted and they loved it :)

We ended up having to get 2 of these. The first one we opened it and the eye had popped off inside of the package. My little one was super disappointed. We got a replacement and the replacement is doing well so far, so hopefully just a fluke in that one!! I will say that the material is nice and soft and although the packaging makes it appear flat and smaller allow it time to grow :)

Arrived creased and wrinkled, no tags. Made the toys appearance seem possibly used. I don’t think it was, but I did think twice about giving it as a gift

i've had him for over two years now and he has held up quite well. his eyes are a bit scratched up and his stuffing is a bit lumpy after being washed, but for two years of wear, very impressive. would 100% recommendedit: its now been 4 years, and he is still in great quality - i bought him in my first year of high school, and he has now traveled with me across the country for college. i recommend adopting your own shark buddy :)

If it wasn’t for the eyes popping off this item would have had a 5, however this was for a little kid and the eyes popping off are a choking hazard. It didn’t take much for it to come off either, thank God we caught it. As for softness, no complaints, as well as size, although I was hoping it would be a bit bigger than it was.

My granddaughter is obsessed with whales and when she opened this it was love at first site. She grabbed it and it has not left her sight in 2 weeks when I gave it to her. It's VERY soft and cuddly. Can also be used as a pillow. And it is BIG just the right size for a 5 year old. Cute little smile on it's face and very well made. She wants to bring it with her everywhere, kindergarten, restaurants, shopping but her parents had to put some limitations on her fearing it's loss. I could not have hoped for a bigger hit for a whale loving little girl.
