Simple, effective and easy to use.
Built a deck, 14x16 out of composite planking. Used these Plank Rite Steel Deck Spacing and Fastening Tools (2 pack) for board spacing and to maintain a clean screw pattern as each plank was laid. End result was straight rows of screw heads and a nice looking composite deck with even plank spacing. For the price, a nice looking deck surface was well worth it.

Works on wood or Trex
Made a small deck. For some reason shipping was quicker when ordering 3 than one, which seemed like an odd way to upsell, but better to space the entire board so I got 3. They work great. Have 2 sizes for spacing wood or trex. I highly recommend. Good product.

Needs small modification for wood.
Overall a great product and better than plastic spacers. Nail/screw pattern makes for a nice uniformed look when complete. I did have to modify them for using on wood. The 1/8th spacer side is much shorter than the 3/16th side and has very little engagement on the rounded corners of 5/4 boards. Using a grinder and removing the stamped feature (bump) on the 3/16 side made both sides 1/8th and makes for full engagement along board depth. (See photos). There is no such thing as a straight board so these and a couple board benders are a must for a nice looking finished product. 5 stars if product came with the same length on both the 1/8 and 3/16 sides and didn’t need modification.

Wow… so simple but results are great!
Helping my son install a wooden walkway for his condo. Didnt want to buy the camo brand cause of cost. Took a chance and bought two of these.Finished pretty fast cause it takes the guesswork out of it and keeps the screws in perfect alighment. Looked great and very happy.
