My old electric pepper mill finally quit. I use fresh ground pepper in most of my cooking. I knew there had to be rechargeable options, these days. Now I have fresh ground pink salt, as well. These could be used on the table, but they are a bit too tall in my opinion. I do like them for cooking. The grind size is adjustable, so you can get that perfect seasoning. They work great. The push button activation is placed nicely for easy thumb operation. I don't know how long a charge lasts. I have used them for weeks straight without recharging. I usually recharge them when I refill them and that seems to be enough. Refilling is very easy. There is a nice size opening for pouring in whole pepper corns and chunky salt rocks. The blue LED makes it look cool, but actually makes it harder to see the ground product on the food. You have to let off of the grind button every so often to see what you're doing. I don't think light up grinders are necessary. I don't cook in the dark. the small containers that attach are nice for grinding and measuring. You just attach and grind. No measuring marks on the attachments. They just clip in, which is not the greatest. It's a tight fit and may break over time. Overall, I am very pleased with these. I think the grinders are great and good value.

We have had this grinder set for three years. It finally stopped charging. Ours stopped charging because the charge prongs are under the grinders. The prongs must be able to make connection with the copper plates on the base unit. If they’re crusted up with salt or pepper it won’t charge. This really is a dumb design looking back. Our salt grinder prongs got jammed up with salt, probably corroded. The longer make contact with the copper connections in the base. We got three years use- which by the way were great. A great fine salt grind, and the battery held charge several months. We also gave these as Christmas gifts- and those sets didn’t last a full year. The difference was they left their plugged into the wall at all times. We only charged as needed every few months, and I think that saved the battery. Now that I need a new grinder set I’ll spend more and buy one that plugs in at the top of the unit, not underneath where the salt comes out.

This are so nice looking. Price is paid was well worth it. Perfect size fits in cabenet and looks good on the table. Filling these up is nice and easy. Salt comes out at just the right amount for what I need.

Best grinder set I've had (so far). I love the fact you just invert them to grind instead of pushing a button to activate. Also, the light has come in handy several times. Easy to use and to adjust how fine you want the salt or pepper to come out. Plus, they look great.

I've had these grinders for about a year and have been really happy with them. After going thru 3 different sets in the past year these seem to hold up. Best attribute is they seem to last and are standing up t regular and heavy use. Areas that could be better: The salt and pepper reservoir could be bigger, it feels like AI am constantly filling them. The grind coarseness setting is either a fine powder or large chunks, needs to be better adjustments. Most importantly, I just had the issue of the units not recharging properly. I bought replacement batteries and it did not help. I looked at the probes on the base of the grinder that connect to the base unit, there was a buildup of pepper dust preventing proper contact. I had cleaned these before, but you have to get in there and scrub and sand them down so it makes contact. They are charging again and working great after 1 year.
