Update: I contacted customer service via email, and they were quick to respond and sent out a new unit that works perfectly. Prior problem down below. Maybe I'm missing something and can correct my review but when I press the power button above the AC plugs, and the on-screen says AC in the bottom right but when I plug anything in, nothing gets power. I've tried low power items like lights or a small fan and nothing will power. Despite my attempts to reset the device, power it on and off, and use different plugs, nothing works. Update: I contacted customer service via email, and they were quick to respond and sent out a new unit that works perfectly.

Do NOT buy this!!! I bought both the 500W and the 300W version of this. The first time I needed to use these neither one worked. The 300W worked for the USB outputs, but not for AC. The 500W is just completely dead. I can’t even get the flashlight on the side to come on. The only time I got anything from this was if I plugged the charger in the display came on and showed that the batteries were fully charged, but the entire thing goes dead the moment the charger is unplugged. These are not quality units. Do not buy them.

12/2/25 well, after full charging the unit using solar, brought it in and began running about 10-15W worth of load. The display never dropped below 99% and then suddenly 4 or so hours later it dropped to zero. Ugh ——— 11/30/25 edit I think I finally figured out the main problem, I think. Or maybe I errantly assumed that what appears to be the main power button in the center, pressing that does NOT shut down the AC or DC outputs of this generator. All that button does is shut off the display. When I contacted customer support, I was very disappointed that they wouldn’t talk to me until I provided a great deal of data. That’s not the kind of CS that I’m ok with ——- Edit **** 10/14/25 This has happened twice now. The unit would be charging and all displayed parameters seemed reasonable except the overall charge level seemed stuck. Well when it went dead last night I realized that 83% until it went to 1% and it alarmed. I guess I’ll have to reset it more frequently. Also, the unit seems to glitch on the standard USB outputs when plugging into the USB-C, causing the items on the standard USB to glitch and reset. —- I’ve used this now for around a month or six weeks and love this thing! I ended up ordering the 100W solar panel and it’s pretty awesome seeing the input and output watts displayed. I unfortunately dropped it and it didn’t care at all. Very solidly built and intuitive operation. When charging in the cigarette lighter/power plug the tip gets so hot it can’t be touched. Keep an eye on that. Very disappointed that I can’t use a 200w panel, limited to 120w. Anyway, I really like the product. The generator starts any time power is applied from the DC inputs.

Has worked well so far and it keeps a charge for a long time.

Better that I expected It has help me to save some money on the electric bill

I keep this with my emergency tubs, for power outages. Runs lights for quite awhile, also use it for primitive camp hunts. No need to buy fuel for lanterns. Keeps what all I need charged with no issues. I would advise buying the biggest you can afford. Should buy the biggest can afford to run refrigerator some for power outages. Very handy to have

This was charged and tested on various small appliances and was able to run a Celestron telescope with no problems. I pulled it out during a power outage yesterday and it no longer works. The display shows that it's completely charged but power will not flow from any of the connections. Tried to reset it and it appears to take and hold a charge, but will not output any power. I do not recommend this product.
