Having struggled with compatibility issues in the past, finding a backup camera that seamlessly integrates with my Joying headunit for a 2012 Subaru Impreza was a priority. After encountering setbacks with two previous cameras, I finally found success with this model, and it has exceeded my expectations in several key areas.First and foremost, compatibility with the Joying headunit was flawless. Unlike my previous experiences, where configuration complications hindered the setup process, this camera synced effortlessly with the headunit, providing a hassle-free experience. Whether the compatibility issues stemmed from user error or specific settings within the Joying system, the reliability and performance of this camera were unmatched.The picture quality delivered by this backup camera is nothing short of impressive. Whether during the bright light of day or the darkness of night, the camera captures clear and detailed visuals, providing confidence and clarity while reversing. The night vision capabilities, in particular, stand out, ensuring optimal visibility even in low-light conditions.While there is some distortion due to the wide field of view, particularly around the edges of the screen, it's a minor inconvenience that doesn't detract significantly from functionality. When it comes to quickly checking what's directly behind the vehicle, the distortion is negligible and doesn't impede usability.Setting up and installing the camera was a straightforward process, thanks to its user-friendly design and clear instructions. However, one notable drawback is the size of the camera, which limits the downward angle and prevents visibility of the actual back bumper. This limitation can be problematic when attempting to back up into extremely tight spots, necessitating extra caution and reliance on mirrors.In summary, this car backup camera offers reliable compatibility with Joying headunits, delivering clear visuals day or night and a straightforward installation process. While some minor distortion and limitations in downward angle exist, the overall performance and ease of use make it a worthy investment for enhanced safety and convenience while reversing.

I had another backup camera that would not work with my Joying head unit unless I plugged it in to an auxiliary RCA connection. This meant the camera would not automatically come on when the car was in reverse. Little did I know there are actually many different types of backup camera video formats (TVI, AHD, NTSC, etc). After switching to AHD the difference in picture quality was shocking. I thought the poor quality from my last camera was because it was limited by the RCA connection, but this proved me wrong. The ONLY downside is that I went from a wide angle lens to a standard one, which points down a bit more than I'd like, but that is no fault of the camera. If they make an AHD camera with a super wide angle lens that would be the ultimate back up camera.

Basically I have had problems with joying customer service and getting correct info on their products. First off, I bought direct from them a head unit that said it came with everything to make my steering wheel controls work and my FACTORY back up camera will connect and work with the unit, that came as a package for my car, from them directly. Nothing worked as advertised and I’m constantly buying things to make it work. The company’s answer to customer service is “ send it back “ so basically, you spend money to have it installed, have things not work, call them form them to tell you it’s not suppose to work, even though it says it does on the site. The next thing they say is “ send it back if you no like “ so now I have to pay the guy who installed it to take it out, and pay for shipping to China. So first off, becareful with this company.As far as this camera, it’s a good camera for $28. I wouldn’t expect 1080 out of it though, like it’s advertised as. Also, the glass came with spots burned into the lens or the sensor. Every video has blotches in it. Used soap and water, used rubbing alcohol and nothing takes the spots out. So, for a $28 camera, it works, but it’s not what they say it is at all.

Works flawlessly, love the addition to my car. It has good quality video and is a great back up camera.

This was installed on the FJ Cruiser and the camera is very clear.

Their tech support will lie to you to avoid any assistance. Plus, the crap Joying sells here on Amazon is OLD. they sell android 10 on here and 12 on their website. They also only give tech support for android 12.

I have a ownice 9 inch screen with the same processor. Can't belive how clear and crisp the picture is. I had a rear camera I bought from walmart and this blows it out the water for real. Perfect buy for my car! First pic is before I changed it and the other is after the new install.

Better than the rest in terms of quality video. Let's see how long it lasts.

On the camera it says 1080ahd but in reality it only transmits and works on my android headunit as 720ahd @25fps. I had another 1080ahd and it works but i wanted to change the camera type... this was a bust

Se iba a instalar en un carro pero al momento de hacer la instalación nos percatamos que los cables no daban la señal adecuada y la cámara no prendió en ningún momento, se probó con diferentes aparatos y ninguno pudo hacerla prender

La calidad de imagen es excelente recomendadisima 100% nada que ver con las demás cámaras con LEDS. Está incluso en la noche es excelente su imagen y claridad
