Breadmaker Replacement pan - BM250 10mm Pre Twist & Lock (702945)

excellent. The handle on my old one had snapped so this was a great replacement - fitted perfectly. Luckily I had kept the old one though because I hadn't realised this was literally just the pan - there wasn't a mixer paddle with it.

Pan did not work at first but realised it was not sitting deep enough. After I bent back the lugs on the side of the breadmaker, the pan clicked into place and has worked fine since

The pan did not fit my machine. Be careful when purchasing as there are two different pans for the BM250. I had to source another supplier as Amazon did not have my style available. The description of this pan did not make it clear.

Exact replacement for my Kenwood 250 Breadmaker which is a great machine and I did not want to scrap because the original pan had wore out after 10 years of use.

Visually the replacement bin looks correct - and I had been careful to also not get mixed up with the lqter twist-&-lock bin But trying to fit it into the 2 small clips in the bread machine proved impossible ! The problem is that the width across the bin is about 4mm too wide which prevents the clips engaging The solution I found was to gently sqeeze the top of the shortest sides together until the bin fitted This should not be necessary and a message to the supplier is that a jig is needed in their quality system to check the bin will fit to the correct dimension

Exactly what I needed to bring life back to a fab bread machine that was otherwise in good working order. Kudos to both Kenwood and the supplier of the replacement.
